Non biblical doctrine. Follow your path and I'll follow Jesus Christ as I understand HimWhat do you have to lose by attending and experiencing the real LDS system?
We more than follow Jesus Christ, we honor him in all we do.Non biblical doctrine. Follow your path and I'll follow Jesus Christ as I understand Him
I don't agree. I'll leave it at that. You, like most others who follow their organizations preach doctrine that is not biblical. I don't follow men.We more than follow Jesus Christ, we honor him in all we do.
We don't actually preach, we explain and of course directly from the Bible.I don't agree. I'll leave it at that. You, like most others who follow their organizations preach doctrine that is not biblical. I don't follow men.
As you understand is not Biblical doctrine. Trinity was not in the original writings. It was added after John was translated and no apostles or prophets in 170AD. Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Thats Biblical doctrine.Non biblical doctrine. Follow your path and I'll follow Jesus Christ as I understand Him
We LDS comment on forums to attempt to cause others to understand. We never snipe at any religion in church services. And as I have pointed out numerous times, the various Christian sects continuously snipe each as not being THE real Christian religion.
I guess it depends on your definition of "snipe".We LDS comment on forums to attempt to cause others to understand. We never snipe at any religion in church services.
Several of we LDS post here and never has any of us sniped at other churches.
Here are facts. We have church services. We NEVER harp about other churches or their services.I guess it depends on your definition of "snipe".
I'm not specifying what is said in Church. I have heard all of my life one Christian sect disparaging another in person and online. Maybe LDS doesn't do that because you are the new kids on the block. But I guarantee you Mormons are disparaged by just about all the Christian sects. Here are facts. We have church services. We NEVER harp about other churches or their services.
I have also attended other churches. Some of them sniped about other religions.
And that should tell you something about what we have. Just as the so-called true religion at the time of the crucifixion would disparage Jesus Christ and his Church, we see the parallels of what you do with His Church in these the Latter-days.I'm not specifying what is said in Church. You "explain"/teach/preach Sunday as Gods Sabbath. That's one of many un biblical teachings. We don't actually preach, we explain and of course directly from the Bible.

God is not divided. ALL BELIEFS are not correct. The duty of the serious Christian is to strive to faithfully understand God. Most don't take the Word seriously. Mormons and JWs generally do. I give them credit for thatAnd as I have pointed out numerousally times, the various Christian sects continuously snipe each as not being THE real Christian religion.
What if a person believes he is a Christian but he doesn't "strive to faithfully understand God". What does that mean? Studying the Bible everyday? Going to Church multiple times per week? If this person does not do that, is he not really a Christian and is he thus damned? The duty of the serious Christian is to strive to faithfully understand God.
I will tell you this much. Start with the building blocks of all that exists. Later we can deal with your issues. What if a person believes he is a Christian but he doesn't "strive to faithfully understand God". What does that mean? Studying the Bible everyday? With all due respect, that is a dodge. I am bringing up a legitimate point that there are schisms between the various Christian Sects AND even within a particular religion. I heard 'false Christian' as a child when I was immersed in the Methodist Church. Your reference to Christians who aren't serious sounds similar to the things I heard growing up.I will tell you this much. Start with the building blocks of all that exists. First, can we all agree there is the universe with billions of stars with who can count the planets? We can probably agree that it is likely some other planets also have life on them.
Billions of stars, were they accidents or were they created?
