I do not support the NFL protests

When a customer hires me I try my best to be as neutral about EVERYTHING I can. If a customer expressed disgust with the behavior of one of my employees then I would address the issue directly.
The NFL team owners hired the players not you.
If and when those owners take issue with the players actions then there is a legit issue.
You are a consumer, nothing more. You also have a right to express your feelings but that's where it ends. You do not own the team, you did not hire the players.

Personally I think the kneeling shows incredible disrespect for our nation. Having said that I don't own the KC Chiefs so it's not my problem. I will not allow a spoiled player or group of players detract from my favorite fall activity.

The Sunday NFL games have been a tradition for myself, family & friends for some time now. Sometimes we goto the games & tailgate. Sometimes we sit out on the deck and watch it on the big screen outside while bbqing and knocking back a few beers. Sometimes, like right now, some of us meet up at Buffalo wild wings and have entirely too much to drink or too much fun or both!
Either way you would have me alter my entire fall lifestyle because a bunch of ******* idiots offended you?

GTFO with that kind of sissy snowflake bullshit.
You can do as you please......no one is trying to force you to do anything. Other customers have the right to voice their displeasure, outrage , disappointment...........as they please ....why does that bother you
On the contrary, the peer pressure, which I ignore, for me to pick a side is tremendous.
Just like you, I am expressing my opinion.
Fine. Doesn't force you to do anything you don't want.......
Peer pressure oh my.....I didn't even worry about that in HS........time to grow up
You talk about highschool when we witness it here DAILY with lockstep thinking and monolithic principles. It comes in a slightly different form but it remains. I may differ with another conservative on this site on a subject and as a result be labeled a liberal simply for having my own perspective. It is a tactic to try to force conformity.
If you want to pretend it only a children's issue then that's on you.
You complain of being called a lib while calling others snowflakes while acting like a snowflake because of dreaded peer pressure.....too funny

I have mixed feelings. It's divisive for those who want to just enjoy the game free from a social justice agenda, but no property is being destroyed at least. I don't trust that all of the players "protesting" have sincere motives. I also think that for many it's a lazy form of protesting, and they want to hang with the cool kids on the field, rather than give up their time and safety to join the peons out in the streets. Egos abound with some definite attention whoring taking place.

That's so condescending to these men who I'm no fan of BTW, but I'm not going to assign motives unless you turn it on Trump and question his! He doesn't have clean hands on any issue; esp. when he's lying through his Fk'n teeth! :argue: :blahblah:

Colin K took his first knee before Trump was elected, but keep deflecting the issue and have complete faith in all those 1%ers. :D

The media and players have shifted the focus of the knee to a reflection of Trump as of late. For me it just proves how malleable their principles are. Just one more reason I don't support them.

Watching the Vikings, announcers seem to be in damage control mode constantly trying to point out how many good works the NFL and or this or that player does.

When isn't that the case? History is replete with shifting malleability to issues of the day? It wasn't that long ago my grandmother had to sit in the back of the bus in the SOUTH! It was the norm and accepted; times changed it all! What else you got? :argue: :banghead: :blahblah:

Opportunists at their finest.;)

They shouldn't have to do that! Heaven knows all sporting organization do "their part" and makes sure we all know it! :blahblah:

Those kind of people are often referred to as ambulance chasers. People like Al Sharpton.
It doesn't make them right it makes them sell outs.

I am not black but I grew up with them & spent my time in prison with them. Too many today want to piggy back off of yesterday's fights. None of the people I grew up with or did tome with had this mentality. It boggles my mind that we are regressing.

I don’t care if they protest, if the owners allow it, it is fine. Jerry Jones told his players that they will stand, I have no issue with that.

People are offended and are boycotting the NFL, I have no issue with that.

I believe in freedom of expression and the President, the NFL, the players, the fans all have a right to respond in the way they feel is best.

Everyone is also free to express their opinions on the issue. So far the discussion seems to pivot on the intolerance of both the extreme right and the extreme left. Maybe one day we will focus on the actual reason that this issue brings out such intolerance.

But I support their right to do so.

To not support their right is unamerican in my opinion.

GO CHIEFS!
I support the right of the fans to boycott them and the veterans that the scumbag players are disrespecting to boycott them. Clearly you have any clue what "unAmerican" means.

I do. Someone unamerican is someone that condemns and tries to influence someone else who is exercising their rights.

We all roundly condemn Antifa but when that same right is exercised against those that oppose the NFL protests it's somehow different?

But when people on the other side express their disgust with what the disrespectful players are doing, that wrong according to idiots like you.

Nope. I have no problem with either side. My problem is both of them want to make this out to be a defining issue. It is not.

Antifa used violence, that isn’t a peaceful protest. Big difference than the NFL players.

Those that criticize those that have taken a knee have every right to, just as the players have every right to take a knee. The players made a statement, people have the right to respond, good or bad.

Both are very American, both promote discussion, both are positives for America.

Some did but many didn't use violence. Either way we condemned them all. And yes, I personally condemn ANYONE who is a part of antifa

People here and those idiots on FNC trying to equate Antifa to anything are whistling DIXIE as far I'm concerned! A woman was killed by animals in Charlottesville so even musing about equity is so delusional! Isolated instances should not be even brought up unless you want to tar and feather TRUMP who encourages violence on his protesters and the news media he doesn't like! You sure you want to go there people? :9::argue: :blahblah:

Yes I will go there. ONE moron killed someone. He will pay with his life. Be it in prison or with the hangman, those are our laws.
If you want to TRUELY do something for your fellow black men goto Chicago & STOP THE ******* MADNESS.
I have gone to inner cities as a speaker to try to help troubled youth. Ive even spoken in public schools on the issues. Granted I am far to old to do so now & be taken as relevant by today's youth but I DID MY PART.
So many of you are content to whine on the internet and feel like you've accomplished something.

Correction: one moron died. Of a heart attack.

Already here! There's just not a lot that can be done with people who have had nothing; bad schools, lack of jobs, and parents who were too young at the time having kids! It's a recipe for disaster! At least it's contained because heaven knows I can travel around with little to no trouble no matter what time of the day or night! FNC loves to exaggerate since Obama comes from Chicago; so of course it's his fault people are killing each other at a very good clip! When I moved to California for a few years and they were kvetchin' about 100 murders one year in Sacramento due to drug trafficking and the like, I had to muse and say to myself, "idiots; that's a good weekend in Chicago!" People like Trump b!tch about such things, but you know in his heart he loves it! It can be used as a political issue and at the same time enjoy Blacks are killing one another! :banana2: :boohoo:  I salute you since I'm an old geezer as well who did what I could when younger! Take care and live long! :cheeky-smiley-018: :coffee:
