I disagree with the Wisconsin Court, you shouldn't pay people to vote.

I don't think you can do that. Unless you know something I don't?
Maybe you know something I don't. I don't know of any rule against it.

Then the toadie on the ticket as President can resign and pass the office to Trump. Voila, 4 more years.

You'll take note that the Democrats are not even denying this, after the last 12 years of their whining about how gerrymandering is wrong.
Both left and right engage in this practice. When it's made illegal, that will put an end to it.

Welp, have no fear. He will do it perfectly legally by running as Vice President, then acting as President. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if one of his drooling toadies runs for President, then resigns, after they win, passing the office to Trump.
Honestly I really believe it's just all trolling. There's nothing more enjoyable than throwing a bunch of breadcrumbs out into the middle of the library parking lot and watching the pigeons Peck each other to death over the crumbs.

On the contrary, Trump has made it clear he will sink yo any depth. Believe him, when he says he does not plan to leave office.

Like I said, was this petition signed by people acting on their convictions or beliefs, or was this nothing more than people signing up for a prize?
I guess if and when legislation is ever created and voted on we will see with the result of the vote. A petition is not a vote and holds no legal value beyond suggesting enough people care about the issue to bring a question to a vote.

It discards the genuineness of the person's vote. I am totally not in favor of paying people to vote, it's wrong and is sacrilege to the entire process of voting. It would be like wanting to win someone over to Christ, but instead of sharing the message of the Gospel, you pay them a million bucks instead, they'll tell you "I'm a Christian" but are they? Did they really become a Christian of their own convictions, or because you paid them? Same concept with paying people to vote. It should be illegal, and I disagree with the judge who cleared the way for the process. It means now that leftist billionaires can engage in the same behavior all the same.
Hell, Biden was doing it with the student loan forgiveness program, and that was with
taxpayers money.
