I voted against a cassia county oregon trail property tax increase so people could play more pickle ball at the oregon trail rec center.

You may as well voted for it because they will just piss the money away on some other wealth redistribution scheme.....At least producing folks could get some exercise.

If the local politicians want the taxpayers to fund a project, they just come up with some other method for the taxpayer to do just that. I remember when they wanted a taxpayer funded ball stadium to be built, downtown. The public voted it down. The politicians solution, they just added an extra tax on restaurants and the public still ended up paying for it every time they went to any restaurant. You can't win. The politicians are always finding ways to get into the taxpayers pockets and the left loves it.
