You'd lose that bet.

Robertson is just as ignorant and hateful as you and other like-minded rightists.

Why do you call a desire to preserve the non-Muslim way of life and maintain peace in America ignorant and hateful?

Robertson like other bible thumper leader makes his money off other mentally ill people and its all tax free he is no different then a carnival barker at a freak show.

This is from the freakazoids own mouth in the past

You should cast demons out of secondhand clothes you buy, lest their previous owner’s evil infect you. After a “700 Club” viewer asked if her mother was right to believe that clothes bought at a resale shop might have demons hiding in them, Robertson recommended praying over them as a precautionary measure. “Hey, it ain’t going to hurt anything to rebuke any spirits that happened to have attached themselves to those clothes,” he said, adding that witches may have cursed the secondhand clothes. While the effectiveness of physical washing of clothes can be determined by visual and olfactory assessment, it’s unclear how one can tell if you’ve prayed the demons out of your clothes. Robertson was mum on how to make this determination.

God punishes people for having too much education. When a viewer asked Robertson why there are more “miracles” in Africa than in the U.S.--mind you, no statistics were offered to support this contention-- Robertson blamed the supposed overeducation of Americans. “People overseas didn't go to Ivy League schools,” he chuckled, unaware that 20% of Harvard’s students come from outside the U.S. He went on to blame “skepticism and science” for God’s miracle reticence, saying, “We are so sophisticated, we think we've got everything figured out. We know about evolution, we know about Darwin, we know about all these things that says God isn't real, we know about all this stuff.”

I have had this friend for well over 20 years. He's an outstanding man, father and citizen. He volunteers at Wildlife Rehab & Release and Interfaith Caregivers. His son was recently accepted into the Marines, like his father he loves America. His tennis partner ever since I have known him is Jewish, they are best friends.
He's a moderate Muslim and an asset to the community.
I have absolutely no problem at all with moderate Muslims. Anyone who does, is living life in a state of ignorant bliss.

Ever since 9/11 forced me to have to come to ANY understanding of Islam...I'd rather it be a subject of which I remained unlearned...I've been struggling to reconcile the moderate Muslims with the radical Muslims in order to come to a way of seeing things fairly but not suicidally.

This video comment by Brigitte Gabriel to the lone Muslim protester in the back of the auditorium helped me find just the right balance.

See what you think.

Here is the reality of life- a society develops a culture over a period of hundreds if not thousands of years. Language, religion, general issues of morality, cuisine, music, art, etc. all come in to play as to what makes a society what it is. When there is mass immigration from other cultures, it sets up a serious conflict as to what will be the dominant culture. There will always be a dominant culture, no matter where you live. So what was formerly seen by many citizens as a good will gesture of taking in people of different cultures, eventually is seen as a threat to their very way of life, because that's exactly what it is, especially with Muslims, who have no interest in living side by side with other cultures; rather they seek to dominate (which is actually to be expected).

This is also why there is more and more backlash in the America toward third-world immigration. The assimilation associated with 20th Century immigration is no longer happening.

Yeah, now that your ancestors landed their fat asses in this country and helped kill off the real, original Americans it's just **** you to everybody else and it's an antique notion past its time. SOOOOOOO typical of the right. "I got mine, now pull up the ladder".

That's a very long-winded way of saying you're a racist. You could've just said it like this: "I'm a racist."

I agree with you about that Moonslims though.

Thanks for being predictable. Not long-winded, deary, but a concise explanation of the complex issue. Culture matters. Language matters.

Then just do the math. "There are about 1.6 billion Muslims, or 23% of the world's population, making Islam the second-largest religion." (Pew Research)

Now let's just say for shits and giggles that 0.5% of them are radicals. That would mean there are 8,000,000 radical Muslims in the world. Really? Think so?

I think there are probably at most 2,000,000 active members to this club at most. That's still around less than 0.08%. Now that doesn't mean the rest of them have a high opinion of the West. But then most people outside our borders don't anyway. Why? Because we send in troops and corporations that lie to them, make deals and steal their resources.

So you can stop your struggling now.

How can you say that culture matters while perpetuating the rape culture that is so pervasive in America today? How can you say that language matters while you, in your every post, continue to fail to fymynyze your language properly?

I've heard far more Muslims object to Islamist extremism than I've heard RWnuts object to anti-abortion extremism.

was it ROBERTSON doing the blathering . I thought I heard a report from a guy other than Robertson for the majority of the video . I think that you can ignore the Robertson comments at the beginning and at the end of the vid and just listen to the reporter as you watch the video . The reporters information is what is important and it doesn't look good for Malmo or Sweden.

It's a complex issue to you because you're a racist.

Your Archie Bunker avatar is well suited to your posts. Except the part you seem to forget is that his character was developed as a joke for the rest of us to laugh at, remember? Bahahhahaaaa...

The reason you are seeing backlash in western countries throughout the world today, is because people don't want to lose what little is left of the culture they know and love.

You can spew all the nonsensical emotionalism you like, but that's reality.
