Make college more affordable so then there are low numbers of low skilled workers and low wage jobs are left unfilled... As they should be. I would love to see minimum wage job openings unfilled and businesses struggling to find workers to fill those jobs... but that will never happen. For some reason people still apply for those jobs. I hope they don't pour their heart and soul into those jobs. Minimum wage = minimum productivity...., one of the components of our system.

College is not the answer to skilled manufacturing jobs. More voctational high schools are the key. We live in a USA now with way to many single mothers and no dads

Agreed bear. I can't tell you how many of my friends have college degrees and are working as sales clerks and odd jobs just to make it by. Engineering and hard sciences seem to be the only exception to this rule. A BA in liberal arts and you might as well head straight to the unemployment line right from the cap and gown ceremony.

What we need is demand first. Then the jobs will come. And when they are finally available, THEN we boost college education.

You need to realize that Dems pander to the wealthy just the same. It's all elitist politicians, including the current administration.

The best thing for middle class is to cut taxes. Every time any politician claims to help the poor by taxing the rich, it's always middle class left with the responsibility. The wealthy find loopholes, which are there by design. Middle class takes the brunt of everything.

We need policies that are helpful to small businesses. We need to make it easier for them to survive and new small businesses to be created. Middle class jobs have disappeared at an alarming rate the last few years. Starting a new business is harder than ever before. Banks are limited on the number of small business loans they can make and Obamacare threatens all small businesses.

Obamacare should be optional, not mandatory. Payroll taxes are too high. I cringe every time Washington idiots claim they have a new idea to help the poor. The poor haven't been helped by welfare. It has hurt middle class because of higher taxes. It's created more poor, put a bigger drain on middle class and the lack of jobs and poor economy make it impossible for people to climb out. Things are worse for everyone right now. Middle class people have less left over after bills because the cost of energy, food and all necessities is up.

If you want to help middle class, start reducing the burden placed on them.

That's what he originally ran on and it was supposed to be "different" than hillary's mandatory plan. I was originally in favor of it because it was supposed to be VOLUNTARY and CONTRIBUTORY.
