I thought Trump would chew him up personally, and as loathsome as she was Hillary was the only option to Trump.
Although the polls were, imo, pretty accurate as to Trump's upside in terms of total votes, obviously Hillary failed massively in the suburbs of Fla, Pa and Mich. I don't know if Bernie could have done better with those relative affluent white women, but ..... And I can't really blame the Comey letter, as Hillary does, because Hillary was not accused of anything she didn't do ... in fact, the media in the end was at worst neutral between her and Trump.
