Zone1 I am stepping away from Judaism

I have been posting here but rarely. I even walked away for a while. Recent events have made me understand my culture and faith on a higher level. I am a Jew, a son of parents whose parents fought the Nazis in the old Soviet Union. I lost a vast amount of my ancestors to WW2 and the Holocaust. There are very few of us left in the world. The vitriol against Jews remains high. With my kids ready for college, I cannot have them be under fire because of the hatred. We saw on our college campuses how most colleges took the side of protesters and even told Jewish students to study remotely. They cancelled graduations. They appeased those who would call for the end of Israel and for blatant antisemitism.

What unified both the far left and far right is their hatred of Jews. I get it form the Left. They see Jews as wealthy oppressors and white. That to them means evil. I see it from the Nazi alt right too. They want Hitler to finish what he started. What was troubling is that the moderates began to hate too.

Why?

Then it came to me. We bring this upon ourselves. People like Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Chuck Schumer, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Alejandro Mayorkas (yes he is a Jew), etc.

Let’s take Schiff for example. He bashed Hur for calling Biden a senile old man only to now ask Biden to step down because, well he is a senile old man. Why? Their lies were exposed. Schiff always knew this but lied to the American people. This feeds into the hateful narrative that Jews are deceitful.

Many, hell most Jews still vote Democrat despite the party overtly telling us they don’t want our vote just our money.

The faith is no longer with me. I ll pretend while my parents are still here. But once they are gone, so goes my faith and allegiance to Judaism. Same for my kids.

We are all walking away.

I share this here because despite all the hate this site has, it also has honesty and I respect that.

Writing this will likely result in some posts slamming me. And that’s fine. Actually therapeutic. In the end while I despise low life antisemites, I have to admit that I despise Democrat Jews equally.

Its time to leave the faith.

Thank you for reading.
There is good and bad in ALL aspects of life, whether it be religion, where someone lives/grew up, career, etc. No part of life is exempt from it. At the end of the day, only you know what is best for you.

It seems as if I do not. 🤷‍♂️

If you have doubts, then take a few steps back. Maybe make a list of things that are positive vs negative about your faith. When we're young, we tend to see the world as all good, and as we get older, we start to realize that there's a whole other side to things we didn't see before.

Agreed. Thank you.

I’ve been discussing this with AZ for a bit, and it seems his problem is his frustration with liberal Jews who, sadly, continue to put their liberalism above their Judaism and actually vote against Jews’ interests. It IS infuriating, as I myself can’t stomach Jews who prioritize women being able to abort their babies at any stage in their pregnancy over the antisemitism raging in this country and the Jewish students being abused and bullied on campus, and so forth.

I have suggested to him the solution I’ve found for myself - to start going to Chabad events. They are an Orthodox organization, so they lean Republican, and at the same time they are welcoming to Jews of any observance level. He lives in Boston (stated so on open forum) and there are a few of them. He should go to a Chanukah event next month and see how he likes it.

Anyway, that was my advice. I pointed out that for every Jew who leaves the faith, antisemites like BS rejoice as they move closer to a world eradicated of Jews.

Politics and religion don't mix well; that is why the First Amendment of the Constitution has an Establishment Clause. Those in office that can't keep the two separated do not belong there.

Except that’s not what AZ is upset about. He’s upset that 2/3rd of Jews prioritize their liberalism over their Judaism, and are more concerned with abortion rights than the Nazi-like atmosphere (and actions) on liberal college campuses against Jews.

Like I said, politics and religion do not mix. People need to understand that at the end of the day, they can't control what others see, think, and do. How many people today actually practice and are faithful to their religion in comparison to people from, let's say ... 100 years ago? It's easy for anyone to claim they are part of any particular religion, but when asked to prove they practice it, it's another story entirely.

Unrelated to what AZ is saying.

see, you don't know Jewish law so when I point out something accurate about Judaism, you claim it is a lie. But what's your background that you have authority to make such pronouncements? You have none. So go hide behind your gifs and empty, unsourced and unsupported lies.
I'm just stating what happened. They identified me as a "half-Jew", even though as I pointed out, halachically, technically, it's not the case. I also mentioned the fact that you would make an issue of it, and you did. I was correct. You're a pedantic,
sophist, that thinks if he focuses on the most trivial, irrelevant elements of what his opponent says, he will somehow discredit the core, most substantial, and damning points presented against his position. You disengeniously focus on irrelevant technicalities.

I know, I know, yes yes, technically, strictly speaking, there's no such thing as a "half-Jew", but my experience, what actually occurred, was that I was identified as one by Jews when they believed my father was Jewish. They treated me much better as a so-called "half-Jew". Even the state of Israel will give me citizenship as a "half-Jew", under the law of return.

No, let’s start with the fact that your Nazi-level rants are prohibited in a Zone 1 thread.
Call me or my opinion "Nazi" or whatever you want. The reason you Zionist Jews are constantly censoring people who criticize and question you is because you have no rational defense for your crap beliefs and behavior. Your religion, culture, and Zionism are indefensible, so all you have left is censorship and government tyranny (criminalizing questioning or offending the sensitive sentiments of Jews as is the case in Canada, Western Europe, and a few other countries).

Actually, you can't be prevented from saying something libelous. But remember, your claim was "As long as I don't directly, explicitly, threaten you with violence, I'm within the law and my right, to say whatever I want." and now you have admitted that you were wrong. You are growing up!
Again more pedantic arguments, straining the gnat. When are we going to discuss what those rabbis are saying in those videos?

My claim is that there is a concept in American law called a prior restraint that limits speech before it is made. We can't just say whatever we want under the law. Please be ignorant more quietly.
  • Relation to the First Amendment: Prior restraint is generally considered a violation of the First Amendment because it suppresses free expression and the dissemination of ideas. The First Amendment protects against censorship and promotes open discourse.
  • Forms of Prior Restraint: It can take the form of gag orders, licensing requirements for publications, or judicial injunctions that stop individuals or organizations from speaking or publishing.
  • Legal Standard: In U.S. law, prior restraint is presumptively unconstitutional, meaning the government must meet a very high standard to justify it. The landmark case Near v. Minnesota (1931) established this principle, making prior restraint a rare and disfavored practice.
  • Exceptions: Courts may allow prior restraint in cases of:
    • National security threats (e.g., military operations during wartime)
    • Obscenity
    • Incitement to violence or lawless action
    • Protecting fair trial rights (though even this is controversial)
I'm not legally restrained in the USA when it comes to questioning your version of the holocaust or objecting to any of your other claims. Moreover, telling AzogTheDefiler, after he claimed I was a coward hiding behind my computer, that I was ready to say everything I said on this thread to his face in person, wherever he chooses to meet me here in NYC, doesn't constitute me threatening him with physical violence. I said nothing about getting together to engage in physical violence, as he was falsely asserting, being that he's a liar like most Zionist Jews. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm not so dull that I would threaten people with violence on or offline, because I'm well aware of the dire legal consequences of doing so.

Condemning the actions of the Jewish State Of Israel doesn't constitute "Nazism" or seeking to obliterate the Jews. Your false charges are nothing more than a pretext to eliminate criticism of your deplorable actions against the Palestinians. Unfortunately, too many Jews resort to these tactics to eliminate criticism of their history, religion, culture, and politics. Like I said and continue to say, your attempt to undermine open discourse and protest only hurts the Jewish people. You create more anti-Jewish sentiments amongst non-Jews when you violate people's 1st Amendment Rights to protest against Israel.

Another example of how Jews have way too much control over our government and social institutions is the fact that in 38 states here in the USA, you're not allowed as a business owner to open a contract with your local or state government unless you sign a document renouncing the BDS movement. BDS means, Boycot, Divestment, and Sanctions vs the Jewish State of Israel.

If you in any way agree with boycotting, divesting, or sanctioning Israel, another country 7000 miles away, you can't do business with your local or state government, here in the USA. What does the country of Israel, have to do with Americans doing business with their government? Why can't I hold the opinion or actively support the boycotting, divestment, and sanctioning of a foreign state, and do business with my American government? The answer to that question is that Jews have way too much power in America and really not just here but throughout the Western world. That naturally generates more "antisemitism
"(anti-Jewishness).

My brother is apolitical. He doesn't care, so he signed the document, renouncing BDS, and now has several of his trucks carrying loads for his local and state government. Nonetheless, he told me about it, because he found it "weird", that he had to sign that document before bidding for those shipping contracts.

How any American can support their government being controlled by a foreign government, is beyond me. Yet many apparently do. Is there anything more treasonous?

Too many Protestant American Christians are brainwashed by the Jewish claim that Jews are the "chosen people" of almighty God. They worship a Jewish man who lived 2000 years ago and hence are mesmerized by Jews in general (they're actually afraid of Jews). They're under the religious spell of Jews.

East Asia (China, Japan), including most of India, laughs at the notion of Jews being the "chosen ones" of God or of anything. As far as Muslims are concerned, they recognize that the Jews and Israel were supposedly in the past "chosen" but today they're a cursed people. Muslims aren't impressed with Jewish claims of "chosenness" or the superiority of the "Jewish soul" to that of the non-Jewish soul.

We live in a country under the spell of Zionist Jews, hence why our government continues to fund and arm the genocidal state of Israhell.

Very true and very sad.

Any American leader who vocally opposes Israel’s control is immediately labeled an antisemite, censored, and career ruined. All those assholes in Congress are afraid. They know it’s career suicide.

Thomas Massie spoke up recently about AIPAC buying all of Congress. They spent heavily trying to defeat him. Amazingly he managed to win reelection.

Like Massie, James Traficant also spoke up against AIPAC and paid for it with his career and life. He was a Congressman from Ohio.

So you make a claim, tell an unverified and unverifiable story which just so happens to support what you are claiming. How deliciously self serving.

You should go back and address the points I made about Jewish law regarding wine and impurity (among other things). I think that's the one which you called 'lies' for no reason other than your inability to respond to what I raised.
