That said I've taken a few rabbits with a Alpaca hair David Sling. LOL....I missed heck of a lot more than I hit but it's fun to chase them around. Killed a carp once.

I used to carry a simple one in my hunting pouch to flush deer out of cover.

I'd put my dad on one of the escape trails out of a big bedding thicket and sling rocks into it. He killed a couple of deer that way. I just liked slinging rocks and flushing them to him....Good times!

A guy from Australia sent me a few of these more modern pouches, I just added paracord.

Of course the longer the cord the greater the distance/velocity you get but I did not need but 50 yards or so. I opted for short cords to save space and let the rock do the work.
