You are clearly more than capable, like any one else, to go online and find out all things that soldiers have and do suffer from for facing combat and being imprisioned, from the Civil War to the Afghan war.

Our military is not a joke. They're just not impervious to cultural fads unfortunately. There are plenty of rough and tough soldiers with the equipment to match.

Between what we left in Afghanistan and what we're throwing at Ukraine, the jokes going to be on the military, when they don't have enough resources to fight the next war. Not a very funny joke though.

Not to mention, our Strategic Oil Reserves are half what they were two years ago. Imagine having to walk to war.
