Each state determines what they want to do as far as opening or not opening, testing or not testing, social distancing or social closeness. It isn't a Presidential function. Example given, President Trump advocated that the people wash their hands after using the can. But it was only a suggestion. He can't have the FBI out there making sure people do it, can he?

The camps are mostly for teenagers, 13-19. Of course older kids can get it, but nothing will happen to them most likely. Mortality rates for that age group are almost zero.

None of the links give detailed break downs of age demographics. It’s yet another fake news attempt to put fear into parents. I’m willing to bet 90% of the confirmed cases are 17-19 year olds and they are lumping them in with 9 year olds to make it sound like young kids can get it. Leftwingers are so dishonest.

It has looked to me for a few months, since May, that trump is hellbent on killing as many Americans with the virus as possible.

No person in their right mind would have ever taken the approach trump has taken from day one.

Maybe because I come from a medical family that I could see that this was going to get very ugly last February. Because of a couple things.

1. trump waited too long to stop flights from China. When he did, he put 11 exemptions in it. Which later we found out that resulted in over 40 thousand people coming to America from China after his so called ban.

2. When people came back to America none of them were tested. None quarantined. They were crowded into small spaces waiting for flight in airports.

The fact that so many were allowed come here then the fact that none of them were tested or quarantined is what allowed the virus to spread. It came to the west coast from China. However, it went to the east coast from Europe which wasn't known at the time and trump didn't stop flights from Europe until about a month after his China non ban.

So when people are allowed to come here without being tested and allowed to go into the general public, it was more than obvious to me at that time that the virus was going to spread far and wide through this nation.

Add to that, the fact that trump was in denial for so many months.

He has the advice of the best specialists in the world yet he ignores them. Everyone learns about containing viruses in high school. Basic testing, tracing and quarantine. Yet trump didn't do that. Add to it that he refused the WHO tests so we were weeks behind from the start.

Now we're up the creek without a paddle.
