Humans in the Future

That's the freaking point of the post.
Bubba , it’s call “ intelligence quotient”
That means it measures general intelligence. It would be called “ skill testing” otherwise. You’re a non reader right ?

Huh ? We are in dire need of medical personnel. So much so, the positions are being filled by foreign nations. Getting US citizens trained and educated into the job market should be a priority. You delusional think private industry leads the way in training ? Hardly.

I wonder why young people don't want to go into healthcare?

Healthcare workers in the United States have been striking in 2023 over a number of concerns, including:
  • Staffing: Understaffing is a major reason for strikes, as healthcare workers believe it's dangerous for patients and themselves.
  • Patient care: Healthcare workers are concerned about the quality of patient care.
  • Working conditions: Healthcare workers are concerned about their working conditions.
  • Employee retention: Healthcare workers are concerned about employee retention.
  • Respect and autonomy: Healthcare workers are concerned about a lack of respect and professional autonomy.
  • In October 2023, more than 75,000 Kaiser Permanente workers went on strike for three days in protest of staffing shortages and unfair labor practices. This was the largest healthcare strike in US history.

Yawn….

Yawn….
Anyways, I didn't want to argue on this thread. I'm just imagining a better humanity where we don't have to work. Or people work because they want to, or want more. I don't want communism or socialism, but if working isn't necessary, neither is Capitalism. It'll eventually become outdated. And it seems with AI and automation and technology, there's no reason each of us can't have an android slave. Hotter than this

Back when Plato and Socrates were sittin around on a Greek island eating olives and feta cheese, I don't think they imagined a future would be working 45 hours either physical or white collar work. EW they would have said.

But they did give us religion and trickle down economics. Rather than science and true democracy for all. Sound familiar? The more things change....

Perhaps your right. Even in the future your ancestors will be ruled by the rich and made slaves from 18-70 years old. 67 if you're lucky. 62 if you can afford the private healthcare at that age.

We are a nation dedicated to capitalism. So much so it has partially bought out one party and completely bought out the other. Capitalism works ONLY if it addresses the need of the middle class for fairness. Otherwise, if it’s capitalism only for the upper class, it’s oligarchy. Govt regulation is absolutely necessary to protect the middle class. The upper class have their protection under the guise of incorporation.

Call it what you want and call me bubba if it makes your I.Q go up a point but the sad truth is that the federal education system is responsible for the trend towards lower I.Q scores. Who knows, they might decide to grade I.Q's on a curve to make it fair.

Why do you insist on making up shit. No one gives IQ test in any education system….and the feds have nothing to do with IQ tests. So HTF could they be trending down. You really don’t know what you are talking about.
