Anyways, I didn't want to argue on this thread. I'm just imagining a better humanity where we don't have to work. Or people work because they want to, or want more. I don't want communism or socialism, but if working isn't necessary, neither is Capitalism. It'll eventually become outdated. And it seems with AI and automation and technology, there's no reason each of us can't have an android slave. Hotter than this

Back when Plato and Socrates were sittin around on a Greek island eating olives and feta cheese, I don't think they imagined a future would be working 45 hours either physical or white collar work. EW they would have said.
But they did give us religion and trickle down economics. Rather than science and true democracy for all. Sound familiar? The more things change....
Perhaps your right. Even in the future your ancestors will be ruled by the rich and made slaves from 18-70 years old. 67 if you're lucky. 62 if you can afford the private healthcare at that age.
