Looks like closure to the sad story. The "family annihilator" is a known psychological phenomenon, which seems to be the case here.

Human remains believed to be Travis Decker, the Washington state man accused of killing his three daughters, have been found, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.

The remains were located in a remote wooded area south of the town of Leavenworth, Washington, the sheriff’s office said in a statement Thursday shared with CNN.

“While positive identification has not yet been confirmed, preliminary findings suggest the remains belong to Travis Decker,” the statement said.

Some folks who offed their entire family have never been found, but thankfully, most everyone is either quickly found dead or taken into custody.

William Bradford Bishop Jr. (born August 1, 1936) is a former United States Foreign Service officer who has been a fugitive from justice since killing his wife, mother, and three sons in 1976. On April 10, 2014, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) placed him on the list of its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. On June 27, 2018, Bishop, who at the time would have been 81 years old, was removed from the list, making room, the FBI said, for another "dangerous fugitive"

I don't believe either in Satan or heaven and hell. But I wish I could believe in hell for anyone that harms a child.
