Virtually every state now requires ID to vote stupid and most people now have picture IDs. That method of voter disenfranchisement is so 2010. Keep up. The GOP is now trying to simply REMOVE legit voters since the ID thing is moot

Arguably, our most important legal document and they want to turn it into a Publisher's Clearing House mail-in sweepstakes..

How is someone supppsed to present an ID for an absentee ballot? Requiring someone present to get an absentee ballot sorta defeats the purpose of voting absentee.

If it's a REQUESTED mail ballot, (which will be de facto outlawed by this bill) the registrar knows the address and the name and that same name and address will be included on the return envelope. So there's no pressing need for ID check if the SIGNATURES ON THE RETURN matches the records.

But they are doing away with all of that as well.. People will be hoarding and stealing these mass mail ballots like the weekly Pizza Hut flyers with coupons..

Because most covid vax sites are BY APPT and most of them KNOW that you are legal residents of THAT COUNTY. Or is often the case with hospitals doing public vaccinations, they are vaccinating anyone who is an out patient in their chain of clinics. Who doesn't HAVE an ID to buy beer?
