How will Trump deal with Mexico's new leftist president?

1. close the border
2. tax all remittances sent from America sites to Mexican sites.
3. If Mexico refuses to stop the illegals from trying to enter the US, cut all funding for all programs in Mexico paid with US money. It's time we reserved our money for ourselves and our actual friends.

It's well noted you have not posted a single trusted credibile link to your claim, but the last time I looked 2/3's of our oil comes from Mexico & Canada, which keeps us away from mid eastern oil. Now if you don't think that they could murder our economy, you've got your head shoved up your dark spot. You'll also note from the chart below that Mexico also buys oil from us, and the entire middle part of this country gets their oil from Canada which is refined here through their pipeline. Oil is Mexico's number one industry, tourism is 2nd to that. Canada & Mexico are also our 2nd and 3rd largest buyers of American products, cars, appliances, food, electronics, etc. etc. and you think that Trump can fuck around with them without any blow back to your wallet.

I've already schooled you on this, and you still don't get. You're a slow learner. Again, we have the MARKET. Mexico and Canada NEED us. When you're in business and you're selling, you don't piss off your customers. If you do, you LOSE SALES. Is this beginning to focus for you ?

As for the oil we get from Mexico and Canada, it's not a big deal. We can replace it with oil that we drill for here in the US, and much of it is already replaced by natural gas.

Your links - All you're doing is throwing out pieces of the puzzle. The bottom line to all of this is that WE HAVE THE BIG, BIG MARKET, and every country in the world knows it. When push comes to shove, they will back down on all of this, because they need the US to sell to, much more than we need them.

As for your 1930s link, it's irrelavent. Back then, US companies had not deserted the US and moved to 3rd world countries. It's a different scenario now, and one that needs fixing, which is what Trump is doing.

As for "credible link", lol. that's liberal mentality. You need somebody else to do your thinking for you ? I don't.
Thank you Protectionist... Implicit in your post but not spelled out in so many words for some of the troglodytes quickly perusing here; Trump's tariffs do serve a tremendously important purpose. They are painful as hell short term for us, the consumer, as is often the case with being weaned from the teat of expediency. This is crucial not only for National security in the case of some finished materials and commodities but also, long term, for the vibrancy of our economy and independence from being at the mercy of volatile & perhaps hostile Countries around the globe!

Mexico elected leftist candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador in a landslide victory on Sunday, according to exit polls showing the former mayor with double-digit leads over his competitors.

López Obrador, 64, mounted his third bid for the presidency with promises to rein in widespread corruption and fight poverty within the country. A former mayor of Mexico City, he will replace current President Enrique Peña Nieto and has promised to upend traditional party politics.

He would be the first leftist president in more than 30 years.

Far left. Landslide victory. First leftist president in over 30 years. How will Trump deal with him? Comments?

How long before the Cartel kills him is the better question than wondering how Trump will deal with him!?!

Also let be factual leftist leaders usually leave their country in more of a mess than what they got at first and seeing Mexico is already a " shithole " mean this newly elected President will encourage his poor to flood ourr borders and try to find ways to get on our welfare system to help stimulate his Country...

So how will Trump react is more likely the same chest pounding propaganda that leads to little being done fixing the issues...

Not sure I care.

Mexico isn't exactly our best friend and I doubt their new Presedante will be able to improve anything in that country.

Who cares?? I sure don't.

Keeping out members of gangs and cartels is top priority but not too far behind is anti-communism. We will need to provide refuge and working papers to actual refugees from the communist regimes of Latin America or betray our own principles. How do we do that without getting mostly economic refugees instead?
Let them fix their own countries

Hopefully WAR.

It's long overdue.

It's more important than ever to build the wall and secure our Border once and for all. The new Communist leader in Mexico has vowed to flood the US with Illegals. I mean that's already happening, but the Communist has vowed to make it worse. Trump very well could be the last US President to attempt to secure our Border. I'm really prayin for the man.

We have much, much more leverage than Mexico. Trump knows this, and will use it to the advantage of the U.S.

In other words - you expect Trump will try to bully the new president?

If you call telling the socialist shit head to stop using our country as a dumpster for human refuse bullying......you bet!

Yeah, he has vowed to flood the US with Illegals. Trump needs to get that wall built and secure the Border. We have so many Communist/Democrat traitors in this country, who are very willing to assist Obrador in destroying our nation. These are very dangerous times. I wish Trump all the best.

Trump doesn't have to deal with Obrador, Obrador has to deal with Trump. No doubt the democrats will rush to kiss Obrador's ass and it will illustrate the difference between the political parties.

Is he a Communist?

He started his political career in the party that has held power in Mexico since 1929.

Then he moved to a social democrat party, not Communist either.

He's actually considered a populist and a nationalist, more like Trump than like a Communist.
He is basically the Trump of Mexico, yes. Should be super fun.

I didn't even know he existed until about 10 minutes ago, I'm sure he'll be more known in the next few days.
You should check into the rightwing MSM every once in a while. They've been shitting bricks about this for months now.

Shitting bricks?
I'm ecstatic about it!!!
This is gonna be great, now he has to back up all his tough talk which will only piss Trump off.
If he doesnt back it up all the beaners that voted for him are gonna be pissed.
And of course he'll have the cartels breathing down his neck.

This is going to be truly entertaining!!!:abgg2q.jpg:

Comrades in arms. They're loyal Communists. The Democrats will once again show where their loyalties lie. And here's a hint... They aren't with the US.

The only question now is, how much will US Communists/Democrats assist their Comrade Obrador in flooding our country with more Illegals? My guess is, they're gonna assist him as much as they can. They're Comrades in arms So...

BUILD THAT WALL PRESIDENT TRUMP!

I think AMLO is tapping into something in Mexico just like Trump tapped into the U.S. - that large pool of the population that has been disenfranchised by the political and economic elite.
