Donald Trump wanted NATO member nations to live up to the NATO agreement and put 2% of their GDP into their own military so each nation will remain strong (instead of expecting the USA to fight their battles for them).

He tells the NATO members this & they all laugh at him. He then tells them if you don't...the USA will NOT defend you!

Well that wiped the smile off their faces and most of them started paying for their own defense.

Now I think Trump probably sees danger coming with greenland and the panama canal (as well as canada) being strategic locations. He wants them to increase their defense capabilities...but there is no agreement to do so (as in NATO). So Trump floats the idea of "taking back" the panama canal...buying greenland (which has already increased their defense by more than a billion dollars)...and making canada the 51st state.

Don't tell them what you want...say whatever it takes to MAKE THEM DO WHAT YOU WANT

Just like when CNN and MSNBC said they would no longer report Trump Tweets.

All Trump had to do is intentionally misspell one word in each tweet and the TDS ridden anchors couldn't help themselves. Their hatred FORCED them to report the"terrible awefull horrible misspelling" and in doing so...reporting the tweet
