I have a good friend who is a retired administrator of the state juvenile mental health system, which included detention centers. She has related to me how in her early days in that job, males and females were segregated. As a result, those of them who were pubescent or post pubescent had many of their earliest sexual encounters with the same sex. Some years later the population was desegregated and boys and girls had far more contact. According to my friend, even after this, the kids who had been weened on homosexual encounters continued with that behavior even after the opposite sex was available and willing. This was learned and accepted behavior. Not genetic. My friend strongly asserted this.

And my friend is bisexual herself.

No, it is the genes that causes a person to be attracted to whatever the genes attract them to. This has been the case since time began. it is the same thing with men being attracted to women

Not to say that Democrats/liberals/leftists are incapable of critical thinking but over the last year or so I've noticed that many on the left confuse education with critical thinking. They are not the same. Being educated is simply attaining knowledge. Critical thinking is a process by which one approaches an issue or question by looking at it from many perspectives to logically and objectively consider all possibilities and answers.

In my experience, people on the left - including those with college educations - are no better at critical thinking than anyone else. One only has to look at how some approach conservative/Republican views on things like illegal immigration and other "woke" issues to see this is the case. For too many, the only possible answer for opposition to illegal immigration is racism.
