It depends on what kind of bear it is. A grizzly you play dead and a black bear, you try to look as big as you can and start screaming. Polar bear? R.I.P. lol

If you don't have a gun grab a long stick. You can keep the bear at bay by poking at it's nose. Like a Lion tamer.

What's not going to save me from a bear? I've seen guys keep aggressive bear at bay with a 3 foot stick. Just make sure the stick stays between you and the bear as it's stalking you.

They say my 45 isn't strong enough. I find that hard to believe. So I make sure I have my hollow points in when I go up north. The regular bullets might not be enough.
