How To "Free Palestine"

What happened between 1948 and 1967 under Jordanian Occupation:
What does it matter? This is the Israel and Palestine forum.

Running.......Tinmore? Always running from what things mean?

Why is that?
The Zionists and Britain promised to give the West Bank to Jordan. Then they ***** about what Jordan did. And it is irrelevant because the Palestinians were out of that loop.

One more thing:

The "West Bank" was not known as the "West Bank" until 1950, two years after the Hashemites and the British took the land from Israel to begin with.

So, the British who had already left and were done with their Mandate for Palestine in 1948, could not have promised Jordan, the Hashemites anything, especially since the British had already illegally given TranJordan to the Hashemites in 1925.

The poor Hashemites. Kicked out of their ancient homeland in Arabia, descendants of Mohammad, and nobody cared to fight or much less give them their homeland back.
So they had to content with some Jewish Homeland the British decided to give to them.

Sniff :(
The 1948 war was called the war that wasn't. Lebanon only had a few thousand troops and could barely defend its border. Syria was not much better. They moved a little way around Lake Tiberius before retreating. Egypt only managed to defend the Gaza Strip.

Jordan, with Iraq, was the only real threat. Jordan, unlike the other Arab states, believed in the partition and wanted to incorporate the Arab portion into Jordan. The promise was made if Jordan did not attack Israel in the upcoming 1948 war. It was unclear what exactly was promised as Israel made a beeline to Jerusalem. Besides that, there was very little fighting between the two.

Poof !!

It really wasn't.

Jordan was & still is the smartest player in the Middle East. They gave the Palestinians what they deserved during Black September with king Hussein to establish a lasting peace from their Palestinians. And now king Abdullah marries the most gorgeous Palestinian for his pleasure & refuses to grant any other Palestinians a right of return.

Maybe the best way to solve the Israeli-palestinian problem would be a binational State for Jews and Palestinians. :)
Rational and good Israelis and Palestinians should talk and make this possible :)

I have always said that a secular democratic state for all the inhabitants of Palestine/Israel would be the solution. That's what the Muslims and Christians have wanted since the Mandate was signed in the 20s.
You must know that the Israelis want their country to be exclusively Jewish and they also want the Palestinian Territories to be part of Israel. Logically this means modern Israel is to be an apartheid state. Perhaps then the world will isolate the Zionist state as it did to white rule in South Africa.
It seems that not everybody in Israel wants a "Jews only" state.
This link says most Israelis support a referendum on this matter :)

Most Israelis support referendum on two states - Arab-Israeli Conflict - Jerusalem Post

Israel is not a "Jew only" State. There are about 2.5 Million non Jews residing in Israel.
What the Arabs oppose is a State which is sovereign by Jews.
They want it to be ruled by Muslims like all the other Muslim/Arab States.
All 56 of them.

There are no non Muslims living in Saudi Arabia or Jordan.
They are Muslims only States.
You are mistaken; Israelis want their country to be a Jewish state.

Isn't it strange how we never see or hear of any Palestinian complaint about Jordan & other Arab country treatment of Palestinians & yet they ***** about Israel with their peace offerings, security fence & land concessions so the Palestinians can remain in Israel? It's called Palestinian mentality.

Palestinians complain all the time about the treatment of Palestinian refugees. I am not sure why they would complain in the Israel/Palestine section, however. This is called the Zionist mentality, blame everyone else for the theft and occupation of the Palestinian's homeland.

Not to mention bantustans inside Israel like Rahat and Nazareth.

But you have never been to Israel.
Hearsay is not the same as Eyewitness.
No one forced the Muslims and Christians into Nazareth.
They have been there for centuries due to Christian and Muslim beliefs.
And Nazareth is still a city with high tourism.
No one is kept prisoner or not allowed to go in or out.

Nazareth - Wikipedia
In March 2010, the Israeli government approved a $3 million plan to develop Nazareth's tourism industry. New businesses receive start-up grants of up to 30 percent of their initial investment from the Ministry of Tourism.[90]

Rahat (Hebrew: רַהַט‎, Arabic: رهط‎‎) is a predominantly Bedouin city in the Southern District of Israel. In 2015 it had a population of 62,415. As such, it is the largest Bedouin settlement in the world, and the only one in Israel to have city status.
---------

You clearly do not know how non Jewish communities work in Israel.
Druze, Bedouins and other Arab communities have remained in the cities they populated. They are not forced into being together. They are together because they are a community.

No one forced the Japanese into Little Tokyo.
Or the Chinese into Chinatown.
Or the Italians into Little Italy.

They moved where their communities were without being forced into it.
More Israeli bullshit.

Israel has surrounded Nazareth with Jewish settlements and building permits for non Jews are almost impossible to get.

Nazareth is a city in Israel proper, not "the Territories".

So?

So.......ALL OF ISRAEL is occupied territory to you.

So......Jews have no right to any of their ancient homeland.

So......no matter how most non Jews feel positively about living in Israel, you are always going to torpedo anything they say......

Because you know better.

Because Jews must give the land "back" to the Arabs/Muslims

Because Jews must return to being second class citizens under Muslim rule as they were for 1300 years before the State of Israel was recreated.

So......we should stop saying that Jews have rights, unless Muslims and Christians decide to EVER give them the right to even breath.

So.......

Where is the relevance to my post?

Israel has surrounded Nazareth with Jewish settlements and building permits for non Jews are almost impossible to get.

Jewish "settlements"? How DARE Jewish people build homes in Israel, their own nation. The HORROR!
You missed the point.

No, I actually rather think you made your point clear.

I have found no evidence that Israel restricts building permits to her citizens based on religion or ethnicity. If you have such evidence, please provide it.
I don't think there is a specific article about permits but it is mentioned all over the place.

You won't find it in Israeli propaganda (your only source of information) so it is no surprise that you don't know anything about it.

Israel demolishes plenty of Jewish homes built without permits, or on proven Arab bought land.

Israel demolishes the homes of relatives of alleged (never tried or convicted) "terrorists". Even the homes of cousins and grandparents have been demolished, because the alleged terrorist happened to have spent a few nights there.

And the link for that Zionist promise of the center of their ancient land to the Hashemites who already got 77% of the Jewish Homeland in 1925 is.......where?
