How much do people in Toronto Canada spend on food each month compared to the US?

They have been killing cows, chickens, pigs, and everything the animals eat.

Wait just wait I thought this is stuff they talking about in world economic forum and UN so called climate change? I did not think they are really going ahead and doing this?

I did notice whole corn was down $1.90 for a 50# bag from a month and a half ago. That about frequency I buy a bag for the deer to munch on.
I bought 20 forty pound bags this Winter.

We were in drought conditions since Halloween, so I tried to feed families of deer till the end of Feb.

Right now there's plenty for them to eat.....so I won't feed them.

They need to remember how to forage for food.

They sure love the taste of my Tomato plants tho.

Fossil fuels wasn't the only thing the democrats declared war on. Livestock, feed and fertilizers were also targeted--both of the latter have a large detrimental effect on the profitability or affordability of livestock.

Well this because this stuff that is talk about in world economic forum and UN to fight climate change you have to do it?

How can it be so bad there and yet elect the very people that perpetuate the misery? I just don't understand. After what we have seen happening to the countries in Europe, how can Canada allow the same thing to happen to their home?
Toronto and Ontario will go belly up first. They rely heavily on Canadian transfer payments and bloated property taxes which are driving people out of their homes.

Ontario will be a dystopian jurisdiction within a generation.

Wow, I wondered if they would eat them. I've put green tomatoes out for them at the end of the season but they haven't touched them. I was told that they wouldn't as they are part of the nightshade family. I grow my tomatoes in containers on the deck, so I haven't a clue about the leaves.

Lol ...

My neighbor has a huge garden. He has an amazing Green thumb and grows beautiful vegetables. Recently a friendly little groundhog moved in underneath my garage pad. One day I got an angry knock on the door from my neighbor telling me that a groundhog had wiped out his entire garden overnight and that he saw on his video the groundhog retreated to a hole underneath my garage and demanded that I do something about it!

I tried to explain to him that I don't own the groundhog and that it did not take orders from me.

He wasn't happy with this answer. So I agreed to let him set up a capture trap on my property.
Within two days he had the bandit. I don't know what he did with it.... knowing him he probably tortured it to death.

Never mind dairy,.wait until Trump demands equal access for American financial industries. That is the industry at the Creepy Ones and their bosses will defend the protectionism of at all costs. They defend the oligopoly even as the bankrupt and screw Canadians. They take their orders to ensure Canandians do not have economic freedom or even choices.

Uh... if you live alone I guess that would work.
$400 a month on food actually seems about right for a lot people I know where I live in the US in the midwest or $100/wk on food.

I try to spend less than that by shopping at Sam's club, buying cheap brands, avoiding expensive foods like steak or shrimp, eating cheaper foods. I will eat a lot of P&J sandwiches, canned tuna, canned beans and veggies, canned chicken, soups, salads, oatmeal, rice. I think I manage to spend less than $400 a month on food, but it is not easy...I have to budget and really watch it

Bullshit! We buy organic and it is more expensive than buying overly processed crap.
You help make my point, but you don't understand and I'm not going to waste my time trying to explain it to you.

Some one said to me people in Toronto or the GTA spend $400 month on food that seems very costly and way more than what people spend in the US on food each month?

So you got nothing and just spewed nonsense, got it . Thanks for conceding.

See what I warned ya'all about now?

You took 25 minutes and you still didn't understand. Let's try again.

The one who spends the most on groceries is the one who goes out of the store with the most chocolate bars, potato chips, and colas.

Not in the USA. Meat sends you over the top. Other stuff you mention, yes it adds up.

Fresh vegetables will help that as well--$2 for a head of lettuce, $1.92 for a bunch of radishes at Walmart, nearly a dollar or more for a bell pepper and that doesn't even address things like tomatoes, asparagus, and fruits.

You should have defended the groundhog with your life.
