How much do people in Toronto Canada spend on food each month compared to the US?

Such a typical lame message with zero evidence.

Are (D) killing cows?
Are (D) deporting farm workers, because we all know that able-bodied Americans are now filling those jobs, right?
They have been killing cows, chickens, pigs, and everything the animals eat.
They've also been destroying fertilizer factories for the last couple of years.
Obama also took 30% of our feed corn and converted it to Ethanol production, causing the price of gas and feed corn to rise.
Ethanol turns to water and ice when the temperature drops. If we have an extreme cold spell our fuel lines will freeze. Electric vehicles will be useless.
Socialism got rid of all of the nuke plants in Europe, so now they all survive off of hydro-electric and gas fired turbines.
Whatever was a cheap source of energy came under attack from the same folks that burned Tesla dealerships.

Some one said to me people in Toronto or the GTA spend $400 month on food that seems very costly and way more than what people spend in the US on food each month?
Uh... if you live alone I guess that would work.

If that is what is happening in the US than the price of food should go up in the US. But it stated the price of food is more expensive in Canada than the US for some strange reason.

It can’t be all supply and demand issues in Canada being that is why it is so costly there.
Supply and demand controls the market.
Government needs to get out of the way.
When they won't, then you have skyrocketing prices and a higher cost of living.

I did notice whole corn was down $1.90 for a 50# bag from a month and a half ago. That about frequency I buy a bag for the deer to munch on.

Is that the only reason that the price of food is higher in Canada than the US?
It's not a simple equation. Supply and demand is part of it.... Personal wealth is another part....
But ultimately the buying power of the currency as a result of literally hundreds of economic inputs that are nearly impossible to track. This is why fiscal policy is so important because policy Bridges the entire spectrum of inputs. If the policy is to subsidize every stupid and unprofitable venture that happens to cross their path the buying power of the currency will suffer.

You are saying the buying power is worse in Canada for some strange reason?

See what I warned ya'all about now?

You took 25 minutes and you still didn't understand. Let's try again.

The one who spends the most on groceries is the one who goes out of the store with the most chocolate bars, potato chips, and colas.
Bullshit! We buy organic and it is more expensive than buying overly processed crap.

Let us not forget that those damn flatulent cows are polluting our environment.
Ocasio-Cortez’s roll-out of the Green New Deal plan last month was hobbled by the fact the congresswoman’s office posted a fact sheet that referenced the need to eliminate “farting cows”

The word worse is very subjective. I don't live there so I don't know. What I am saying is that the final ability of an individual to make a purchase is the cumulative effect of literally hundreds of different inputs. Some stand out more than others like supply and demand for instance. Some perpetually hide beneath the cover of fiscal policy that the individual consumer never gets to see the end result of until they try to spend the money.

When you say farting cows you do mean AOC, Omar, Hillary and Harris, correct?

The exchange rate has the most to do with it if the article is referencing $400 Canadian vs. $400 US. $400 Canadian equates to about $300 US so if they are comparing those, it changes the narrative significantly.

What I’m saying it can’t be all supply and demand is the only reason why it cost more in Canada.

There are numerous reason that Canada is in sharp decline. This is just one of many.

From the abuses of the RCMP on down, this place has been destroyed. Follow our Police State, caste system at your own peril.

Go and check out property taxes and police budgets....We got a deal on the latest G7 meeting, only $500M+ for security!

As I've said before, we don't invest as heavily in our military as others as the domestic policing apparatus is our "military".
How can it be so bad there and yet elect the very people that perpetuate the misery? I just don't understand. After what we have seen happening to the countries in Europe, how can Canada allow the same thing to happen to their home?

They are killing cows because of this climate change stuff?
Fossil fuels wasn't the only thing the democrats declared war on. Livestock, feed and fertilizers were also targeted--both of the latter have a large detrimental effect on the profitability or affordability of livestock.
