I find people have a desire to put labels on people when they can't actually defend the things they say they believe in. They create these labels that they lump people into and argue that when they are unable to actually address the inconsistencies in their beliefs.

It's not just a "label" to call you a leftist, you always support the left. Why does that bother you since it's accurate?

1) we have too many gun laws

2) Abortion should be illegal

3) The problem with deficits is not taxes it's SPENDING

4) The Hillary comment is irrelevant since that wasn't a position

Gun control was not originally a left wing thing, but was a right wing means of keeping Blacks, immigrants, and labor organizers unarmed and more easily intimidated by KKK type right wing groups.

The Clintons were the first to make gun control a left wing thing, and it still makes no sense at all.
It is why I could not vote for Bill or Hillary.

Abortions can't be outlawed, traditionally were always legal, not just in the US, but going all that way back through Rome, Greece, ancient Egypt, etc.
It is not about life because a fetus is not sentient.
It is about forced servitude on the mother/host, to a parasite.

Any rational person wants balanced budgets since anything else if theft from future generations.
But obviously the wealthy are not paying their fair share of taxes.
There are too many loopholes that allow them to make millions and only pay the 15% capital gains rates.
