'How many people just stopped filing complaints?': Human Rights Commission suffers from systemic anti-Black racism, Senate report finds

It would be helpful to have a couple examples of meritorious complaints filed, then being dismissed without being taken seriously. Otherwise, one might wonder if the commission takes the complaints lightly because the history is almost all of them are deserving of being taken lightly.

No, the system is as corrupt as any old Eastern Bloc nation,.ESPECIALLY in Ontario. Our U.K forefathers abandoned the caste system, we did not. As an example, we have a human rights complaint process in Ontario to address police human right violations and our "conservative" government appointed TWO former cops to the board! We have a feckless process for direct complaints against the police, there was a 99% dismissal rate, not even an escalation beyond intake over a 5 year period. Citizens are being told that only 1% of police complaints of violence and corruption are valid and that 99% of our citizens are lying?! Wow.
