How many can afford it

Yet you are doing the same thing. Instead looking at survival rates as being the key for political purposes. The stats are not in question yet some have question the stats. Yet it is clear that Trump handling of the outbreak is flawed. He refused to follow any guidelines to halt the spread. Halting the spread should decreases death rates. Yet he caught the disease and quite a few people in the white house caught the disease. This also means they they spread the disease.

even Mitch said that he had not been to the white house since August because white house procedures to halt the spread was lax and it was not what he believed should be done and quoted CDC guidelines that were not be adhered to by the white house.

Leadership starts from the top and when it fails at the top then it sends mixed messages and those who wish to believe will be empowered.

You are using statistical data to support Trump by using statistical data in a way to dehumanize human death. In this instance by referring to the high percentage that survive and the presumption that it could be worse. Statistic data purpose is to define the problem and develop a plan of action. Yet trump has no plan of action other than to get reelected or test stuff that may or may not work.

Well it is known that Trump made unflattering comments about Obama handling of Ebola outbreak

President Obama has a personal responsibility to visit & embrace all people in the US who contract Ebola!

Well lets look at the stats .

Ebola by the Numbers

11 U.S. Patients with Ebola treated in the U.S.

She survive and got a trip to the oval office. That is leadership

Trump literally made a mountain out of a molehill. Is it fair to now bring up his comments and compare his handling of COVID-9.

Yes because Trump will paint a rose picture but will not accept any responsibility. Yes that is politics and current events do play a role as the saying goes "people are fickle" or people ignore what they see in favor of what is in their hearts.

Trump tweet
If this doctor, who so recklessly flew into New York from West Africa, has Ebola, then Obama should apologize to the American people & resign!

If this was in his Trump's heart, then he should resign. Yet since he didn't then its clear as a leader he says one thing and does another.

Nice fairy tale.

Nice 3 words

The bottom line. The number of new infections has increased. The question is choice. Wear the mask or don't wear the mask.
800,000 cases so far. Obvious this is a contagious virus.
Majority will survive. The question is chose and to rely on the believe that one will survive is a choice. Passing the virus on to others is not the choice of the victims. They can protect themselves and they have the right to chose how they deal with the virus . There is a higher probability that they will infect others. If they infect others then someone else dies because someone infected them. To get to this number 800,000 people infect , there was a begin. I do not know the number who came to the US that were infect but they did and it was a small number. It spread and some people died. We still do not know the long term implications of being infected.

Trump failed to stop those infected people from coming in. His biggest blunder was only focusing on those coming from china. He ignored the possibility of other come from different country that were infected.

The question of how many people can afford the same care that Trump got. A few but not everyone. Trump became infected because of his lax attitude towards the COVID-19. He became infected because of his lax attitude. He is lucky that he is the president and got the best care possible. Unfortunately not every will get the same type of care. He has spin a yarn that everything will be okay. It eventually will as science will find an answer despite the lack of leadership skills of Trump.

I would expect this administration to make the effort to make this treatment readily available and affordable to all because they’re pro-American. Democrats, not so much (not at all).
Dems want illness as an excuse for lockdowns and dependency and control.
The pretzel shapes Trumpers are willing to twist themselves into to hide the fact that just a week ago -- they would have called government using its power to make medical treatment cheap and easily accessible -- socialism....

I thought Trumpers were for free markets -- shouldn't these medical companies be entitled to charge top dolllar for the product??
Absolutely.

I don't care how much it cost. I still will not want treatment if I caught the virus.
I and the majority of the population at the time was never raised to depend on doctors. I was raised to heal myself through natural methods. And most doctors in those days were into holism.
But penicillin and aspirins are a natural source.

Adherents of religious institutions, that practice a holistic dietary and health approach, have been shown have longer lifespans than those of surrounding populations, including Ayurveda,[9] Shinto,[12] and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.[11]

Good thing our national policies aren't based on what some backwards religious zealot thinks we should have....

But as is common with folks like you - the shit you claim to believe online, aint what you practice offline.....if you were hit by a car tomorrow -- you ain't begging the ambulance to take you to the nearest Seventh Day Adventist church...

I had an incident that I was in the hospital. That it was a reaction from consuming GMO foods. They wanted to give me medications to help me out. I've refused their medications. They just waited until the reaction subsided and then I left.
But it would have been a lot cheaper for them to take me to a resort in the Bahamas to lay down for a while, than spending it in the hospital on a cold firm plastic mattress.
I was only there for a couple of hours. But now we have doctors using that money they made from that incident, playing games of golf at a resort in the Bahamas.
If another incident like I had before occurs. Guess where I'm going to asked them to take me?

It is a choice. You have every right to choose how you get treated. I prefer natural remedies but will not shy away from more conventional medicine when needed.
