More than two thirds goes through legal customs, and you would prefer to spend billions on a wall that will only stem a fraction of it because it's hard to stop the rest? Of course, the real answer to the drug crisis is to stop it at the source--the addicts. But that takes time and effort, as well as money, and people are too short sighted for that. They're much more happy seeing a wall that will do close to nothing to stop the drugs.

I have posted Bills in the House on threads that did just that. Never go anywhere........And under the Dept of Labor program there is a legal way to hire those workers...........but they have to provide housing, food, and transportation.......and they can no longer pay them lower than the gov't allows them to pay. The only reason they want illegal workers is to make more money. That program is in place. It is LEGAL.......and they refuse to do it.
