The proposition that Republicans can lie about Biden's China policy as long as China lies to further its interests is a very odd one. Quite honestly, the moral sensibility of it eludes me.

That is not going to happen. So it is what it is. But you do have known liars like NYT and WP on your side. That really shoots the talking points credibility down.

Rather than being pissy about either mainstream media sources or boutique outlets that pander to any particular ideological bias, I prefer to assess actual policies, and the President's getting tough with China while championing American values and forming partnerships with allies is auspicious.

The former guy's raving alienated those allies, essential to global cooperation. In its resolve to check China's ambitions, the U.S. should be leading the international community of advanced, democratic nations, not whining about them.
