Instead of reducing taxes, government should take a look at reducing government expenditures. You can't have both. If you reduce government liabilities, you can reduce taxes. But first, we have a national deficit + number of programs to support. There is a need for taxes to pay for our roads, to pay for the poor folks, and to pay for many other things.
