The military is the collectivized manifestation of the individual right of self defense.
There is no inherent right to force others to pay your medical bills, or other bills for that matter, no matter how old or poor you are.
i think this collectivized manifestation of right mandate concept is diarrhea for the record, but you've not even thought it through all the way, notwithstanding.
You have no right to force me to pay for services rendered to a third party, no matter how self-preserving they may be.
So I shouldn't be forced to pay for the military, police, streets...

you couldn't point out where i've ever argued that the government gives me rights. how did you manage that conclusion? i've stated that the government claims what rights they will intend to have. unlike living creatures able to determine their own actions, i've argued, entities like the government don't have any natural rights, whatsoever. you'll have to swallow your serf argument and try again.
