Clearly they must be in the top 5 in air power

Considering it takes 1 IAF pilot to take out 45 Syrians, yeah, they're pretty good.

..and it's a system--like the US has--AWACS/etc all working together

The only Israeli commando to die in the operation was the brother of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Yontan Netanyahu.
