Your perception is extremely selective. Again: In Germany shoot all policemen (about 240,000 persons) during a year normally less than 100 times and normally less than 10 people die. And also policemen nearly never die because criminals are shooting. And private persons practically are never shooting, because they like to prevent any crime.
In 2017 died in the USA about 40,000 people with guns. The same year died in Germany 820 people (including 750 suicides) by guns (What as to be extremely reduced in Germany too, because this to much!). Because of the use of guns relativelly die 12 times (1200%) more people in your best country of the world USA, while in the public opinion of many people of the USA all other countries of the world are only shitholes, which have to be threaten from the USA with all kinds of war.
Again....suicides don't count, which are the majority of gun deaths in the U.S.....of the 10,982 gun murders, the majority of those murdered are criminals murdering each other. Of the remaining 1,500 innocent people murdered by gun, many of them are friends and family of the criminals caught in the crossfire.
And you fail to understand that the U.S. wasn't as effected by the destruction of World War 2 as Europe was.......it slowed down the cultural decline of Europe....Mark Stein pointed out something one day when he was filling in for Rush...he pointed out that the male population of Europe was devestated by the war.......and that Britain became the land of the Old Maids, as there were a lot fewer men to go around. So what you fail to understand is that the U.S. never experienced that culture shock....that our society was first to feel the effects of "The Great Society" of LBJ...where government programs destroyed the nuclear family, where we now have Black out of wedlock birthrates of over 75%, and it is in those fatherless homes where you find those doing the killing. You brag about the low murder rates in Germany......but what you fail to realize is that the welfare states of Europe have finally reached the point where fatherless homes are become more the norm, not less. Europe also imported people who do not share Western cultural values...who come from violent countries without the rule of law.....
You point to a Europe that is about to change, for the worse....
The U.S. experienced this change in the 1960s when the welfare state took hold of our cities......and the violence from the mid 60s to the 90s was the result.....
Britain is seeing an increase in murder.....an increase in young males stabbing each other to death.....and unlike the U.S....their people have no means to protect themselves...
So sit there thinking you are superior to the U.S.......get back to me in 10 years....
