How do you prove you are a US Citizens if you do not have a birth certificate?

And when Nazis raided businesses and homes rounding up jews and communist, most Germans didn't consider it their problem. After all, some innocent people have to suffer for the greater good, right.
I enjoyed your thread, and it was interesting up till this point.

Don't Godwin yoar own thread if you want folks to take you seriously.

It’s a made up scenario, but as it stands if he is telling the truth, he is employing an illegal immigrant. No social security card, no birth certificate, doesn’t know where she was born, yet claims it was in the US.

It is made up to slam ICE and Americans and in particular Trump. Thought he was better than that but he isn’t.
When he Godwined his own OP in post #18 that is when it jumped the shark.

What on earth are you talking about? You tell them that on the advice of counsel you do not consent to search of yourself or your car/house/handbasket whatever, and you cannot speak without your attorney present. Also you are permitted to say that Texas barbeque rules and East Coast barbeque drools.
I here the ICE tent cities are very nice. Lots of good company,

.

Due process is followed, which means you are given every opportunity to prove who you are.

If the "housekeeper" cannot offer a birth certificate, She's been through and failed her obligation per due process.

.
If ICE rejects her claim that she is a citizen, then ICE will have to investigate to determine her true citizenship or her country of origin. The old days when immigration collected migrants from the streets and farms and dumped them 50 miles south of the border are long gone and I don't think Trump could get away with that.

Yet she waited and did nothing for 9 years? Why didn’t she do this under Bidens regime? Sorry the story does not add up.

You would think most migrants would do that but I guess they don't know their rights or they just want to talk to someone. Miranda rights do not apply to most detainees as they are mostly civil cases.

Most of these people convict themselves by talking to ICE agents. Like most federal agents, ICE agents can be polite, speak the language and seem eager to help detainees. It doesn't take long before the person is telling the agent their life story, how badly they needed to enter the US and how they came in. Some say they do this thinking that their said story will convince the agent to recommend release. Of course the agent's only objective is to get a confession and determine the detainee's place of origin so he can be scheduled on the right plane out of the US.

9 years? I don't think she is planning to do anyone other than avoid being picked up by ICE. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have the money to hire an immigration lawyer and commence a two state search to gather evidence of her US citizenship.

My point is a birth certificate exists under the scenario you stipulated. Millions have to get their birth certificate to obtain a passport. I have certainly done so. Your housekeeper should be able to do the same.
The question I asked that started this thread was how; that is; how does she get a birth certificate when she does know her exact birth date and exact birthplace in Arizona or California. There are dozens of vital statistic agencies in these two states that record birth certificates and they all require the exact birthdate and place of birth, neither of which does she has.

She had 9 years to correct the issue from 18-27, why did she not take care of here birth certificate and how did she get the new license and social security card without a birth certificate?
