Take away every dime possible. My husband made his will very clear so that his kids had no chance of probating our assets away. I knew that every dime I gave to them had a great chance of being donated to destroying black businesses and killing unborn babies, so I just moved out of the state and blocked any communication from them.

His kids are. He was lightly liberal democrat, without being strongly political, but he was changing. And that was even before the evil became so evident -- he passed in 2020 and his last year was spent descending more and more deeply into dementia.

But I know he would never have supported BLM and Planned Parenthood. The last time he voted, it was for Trump and he would have voted for him again in 2019, but I didn't feel it was right to let him vote without having his whole mind and awareness of what he was doing.

In the last five years of his life, his daughter came to visit for an hour because she was in the neighborhood and one of his sons came over to borrow money. He was deeply saddened by his kids' indifference.
