Dear Slyhunter I also thought of the impact it would have if all
Libertarians, Greens, Constitutionalists and other Third Parties
including Socialists and Communists, joined the Democratic Party,
then used that to set up representation by party through the Electoral College districts
dividing the votes proportionally.
This would be true inclusion!
I would like Constitutionalists to join to start enforcing those principles, for all people,
before partisan beliefs and platforms that aren't representing all the nation.
If everyone joined and expanded the D Party to include reps from ALL parties,
then maybe they would live up to their name and principles:
a true Democratic coalition that accommodates diversity and respects "freedom of choice."

Not really the way it works. The Russian propaganda machine churned out lies targeted at the weak minded folks. Outrageous conspiracy theories, sensational fake news, and so on. They manipulated you and your fellow conservatives and not a few independents. No amount of money is equal to a good smear campaign.
