The government has paid off farmers to NOT grow food for many decades.
Fortunately, these are corporate farmers, not private farmers. Private farmers provide most all the food sources we have.

This country has an overabundance of food. So much so, that this country throws over a billion tons of GOOD FOOD EVERY YEAR.


You cannot have WASTE, unless you have EXCESS.
