The Biden Economy..FACTS:

1. Job gains​

2. Unemployment rate​

Aside from a covid-fueled surge in much of 2020 and 2021, the national unemployment rate has remained low through both Trump’s and Biden’s presidencies.

Joblessness fell during the Trump years to a half-century low of 3.5 percent in early 2020, just before the pandemic. During Biden’s presidency, the unemployment rate has inched down even further, to 3.4 percent earlier last year. It now stands at 3.7 percent.

3. Economic growth​

Even so, the economy rebounded quickly, thanks in part to trillions in stimulus money, and was growing again by the time Trump left office. Now, under Biden, the economy has notched five straight quarters of growth following a six-month slump last year. The latest expansion has been powered by heavy consumer spending, which makes up about 70 percent of the economy, and new infrastructure and green-energy projects spearheaded by the Biden administration. Moreover, what you said about homelessness is misleading. Before I respond to what you said about homelessness, I must admit, the Democrats have lost their minds when it comes to illegal immigration. That is part of the homeless problem and Republicans are correct when they criticize Dems for the way they're handling illegal immigrants (i.e. illegals). Eliminating the homeless problem is more difficult when many of those homeless people are illegals. You're taking resources away from homeless Americans. That said...

Cities run by right-wing conservatives, make conditions so difficult for the homeless, due to a lack of government and privately run and funded social services and of course, not to speak of city ordinances that criminalize activities required for the homeless to survive, that the homeless leave. Where do they go? Dem-liberal-run cities that offer more social services and aren't as harsh on the homeless with their city ordinances. That's why there are more homeless people in Dem-run cities.

If Democrats were more to the left, as in being socialist or communist, they would house all of the homeless and adjudicate (i.e. through court order) forcing those who are addicted to drugs, into an inpatient drug rehab facility until they're clean and sober.

For about eight years in Utah, there was a government program called "Housing First", that essentially eliminated homelessness in the state, by immediately housing the homeless in studio-efficiency apartments (for individuals) and regular 1 and 2-bedroom apartments (mostly for homeless families). It worked and saved the state millions of dollars annualy. Homelessness is extremely expensive, much more so than simply housing the homeless. In 2018 right-wing Republicans started complaining that the hard-working tax-payers of Utah, shouldn't be paying to house a bunch of bums. They defunded and destroyed the program, and now the "freaks are back" on the streets, doing their thing.

These conservative Republicans failed to realize that the Housing First Program was transforming homeless, drug-addicts (bums), into law-abiding, productive members of society. Did all of the bums get rehabilitated and become good, model citizens? No. But a considerable number of them stopped using drugs and got a job, and those who didn't aren't standing in front of your business wiggling their genitals in front of your customers as they walk into your store. They're not urinating and defecating on the sidewalk in front of your restaurant or home.

They have their place to live and a host of social programs and resources that they can connect to that will help them stop being bums. Counselors, social workers/case workers, who visit them regularly, help them learn about the resources available to help them get back on their feet. There are rules that people have to follow, like regularly attending AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings, and meeting with their designated counselors and case workers regularly. That's all part of the program, that pays their rent until they get back on their feet. Unfortunately, the Republican conservatives, the right-wingers, destroyed that program in Utah.

Both Republicans and Democrats are part of the problem. The Republicans don't give a crap, and kick out all of the homeless from their cities. Barabing, baraboom (that simple, "problem solved"). Those homeless people gravitate to the Democrat-run cities, that are more "humane" and offer them social services, but the problem is that the Democrats go half-assed. You can't resolve the homelessness problem in America by dealing with it in a half-assed manner, you need to do everything necessary to effectively eliminate it. These Democrats aren't "left enough". Liberals aren't real leftists, because true Marxist leftists eliminate homelessness and street crime.
