I’ve often wondered where they come up with the names for the various vehicles on the road. I drive a Nissan Titan but the next smaller model is a Frontier. How do the 2 match up?

I didn’t see an answer to something I’ve wondered about; who designs are those different plastic bottles drinks come in?

Anyhow, it’s a fun read @ Ever wonder who comes up with brand names? This woman.

It can often be a pain in the ass finding a suitable name that you can use without infringing on someone else’s ownership rights of some sort. Sometimes easy to negotiate around, often times not though so it’s on to whatever name’s on the Plan B list and so on it can go.

What stings a bit is getting a bit too close to something before it’s cleared for use, thinking about cool promotional stuff from marrying a name and a product/service but then suddenly, poof, the word comes down that one’s verboten. Next up...
