How Americans Are Made

I've always been glad to pay taxes.
Hmmm....jpg

The other way you can say it is that "I'm glad that the government owns me, owns 100% of my income and that it alone sets the terms for which I may keep a certain percentage. "

Sure, they didn't pay Federal taxes then and my guess is not right now.

Conservative icon Thomas Jefferson in a letter to James Madison:

Equality: Thomas Jefferson to James Madison

The property of this country is absolutely concentered in a very few hands, having revenues of from half a million of guineas a year downwards.

[snip]

I asked myself what could be the reason that so many should be permitted to beg who are willing to work, in a country where there is a very considerable proportion of uncultivated lands?

[snip]

I am conscious that an equal division of property is impracticable. But the consequences of this enormous inequality producing so much misery to the bulk of mankind, legislators cannot invent too many devices for subdividing property, only taking care to let their subdivisions go hand in hand with the natural affections of the human mind.

[snip]

Another means of silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise.

[snip]

Whenever there is in any country, uncultivated lands and unemployed poor, it is clear that the laws of property have been so far extended as to violate natural right.

That looks like a nice area.
Yeah. Reminded me of Mayberry R.F.D. :)

I live in a very similar village. Wonderful.

I like that when I go to the grocery store, I always run into someone I know and we have a chat.

Pretty sad when you ridicule your own daughter to make a political point. Alas, that's what the angry bigoted disappointed left is all about these days.

The fact is, a huge wealth gap has been created through legislation benefitting the wealthy.

The playing field is badly tilted, and so it is time to take Thomas Jefferson's words to heart. It is time for a serious reboot.
Do you expect all of us to be tax free? Because just less than half already are. Democrats set things up so the working class will vote for them. So they pretended the Rich pay little and are really just evil bastards. This is not true as our paychecks we got proved to us all. The Rich are holding up this economy. The Democrats Try to suck us all dry.

Lets use Elon Musk for a great example. He was born in Africa and came to Canada and got to be a citizen. Then he shows up in the USA and gets educated and then made a citizen of the USA. So rather than screw the pooch, he decides to become invested in enterprises. By golly he took over a car firm that problem was failing and it blossomed. So he tore into making space craft. And has Blessed the USA by building the very best and now has constructed a super war plane I hope our country uses. It is stealth, super fast, flys at over 100,000 feet and the enemy can't find it. It has powerful weapons. But he is not just doing that. He has to be paying massive taxes. All employers kick in half of the employees taxes to social security so he is making his workers even richer. He has been constructing an underground tube transportation system and he is making it very fast in speed. That guy does more for the USA than Biden or any democrat ever has. I am pleased he is with we Republicans.

100 percent of what I made is not taken by paying taxes.
My guess is you have existed federal tax free as to income taxes.
