RW mailed it in for his whole career. He showed up, did as little as possible, didn't give a crap about his employer or his job and was out the door 12 seconds after his shift ended. And he still doesn't understand why they didn't care about him more.

There are a lot of companies with great benefits, including maternity. He just never had a job like that, so he isn't aware of it.

So if government doesn't mandate it, then it doesn't count? So you don't actually care about the maternity leave, you just care about the mandate. That's what I was trying to get you to admit. You walked right into it.

BTW, I got 2 weeks fully paid paternity leave from GE in 1991. Note the "p", that isn't even just "m"aternity leave I'm talking about. I cared about my employer and my job, they cared about me. You should have tried it.

Parents have to abandon their children because it is no longer possible for most families to survive independently on one paycheck.

Here's an idea. Let's solve THAT problem!
