Beryl’s cone now includes Houston. Here’s what that means

With Texas in Beryl's path, the KHOU 11 weather team is calling for Weather Impact Alert Days on Monday and Tuesday.
Impacts for Houston-Galveston are expected with an increased chance for rip currents, dangerous swimming and boating with increased surf, and an increasing chance for rain on Monday through Wednesday. Some models bring heavy rain to Texas, possibly even the Houston area, early next week.

If you are in the Houston, San Antonio area or plan to be there... prepare.

1. Batteries
2. flash lights
3. candles
4. charge everything ahead of time
5. stock up on water

Hopefully there will be no power outages, but if there are some power outages get batteries for the fans.

Now the weather man says it will be a Category 2, or 3

It will hit Houston at 2am Monday morning. He just said there will be power outages, downed trees, and flooding. It will move on up the east coast area pretty fast.

1. Hurricane Ike years ago... they had all that gay stuff taking place in Galveston, TX

2. They had all that gay stuff planned in New Orleans with hotels sold out for gay festivals and parades, and God flooded the entire place with Hurricane Katrina.

3. Last weekend it was the gay parades, now Hurricane Beryl picking up speed, skirting up the gulf coast and going directly where God told has told it to go-Houston.

God's displeasure. Bible says God's wrath is revealed down from heaven.

Color me wrong, but right now it doesn't appear to me that Beryl will gain enough strength to reorganize itself into a true viable hurricane before landfall, and it looks to me like it may track farther north than expected, first hitting around the Houston / Louisiana area before moving inland. We shall see.

Do you attend Westboro Baptist Church?

As for now Beryl has gone back out into the water to pick up a whole lot more water. Our Chief Meteorologist says Beryl has now slowed down in the water, and that is very bad news. Now it's getting more time to come in contact with the heat and that will make a Category 1 or 2 when it hits Texas.

At 1am Sunday morning we began receiving robo calls from Centerpoint Energy warning us about the approaching loss of electricity from Hurricane Beryl. The electrical wires just cannot handle 100 mph winds.

We are so used to so many of these Hurricanes that come on land and then go right back out into the water and scoop up tons of water then barrel into Texas.

I still remember that is exactly what Hurricane Allison did years ago. Everyone thought we were in the clear. However after it sprinkled a little bit of water over the place it went back out into the gulf and scooped up thousands of gallons of water and slashed it all over the city. You can read about that one.

Now it appears that after making landfall in Mexico, Hurricane Beryl is now back out in the water taking its time to scoop up thousands of gallons of water, taking its time to mix in with the warn air, and taking its time at being exactly on time for slashing into Texas.

I'm a Christian and we believe that hurricanes do exactly what God has instructed them to do, so does all other storms. They are all on a mission from God for God's own good reasons.

Hurricanes want to attend gay parades??

Greg

Likely a tropical storm with minimal wind damage but lots of rain.
When we saw it skirting up the edge of the gulf coast after it finished landfall in Mexica we knew it was heading our way.

We used to these hurricanes landing, reorganizing, then slashing into Texas. This one will scoop up thousands of gallons of water, mixing with warm water, and slash into Texas as a Category 1 or 2.

Am guessing at least Category 3 as it swings north over Texas .

No wonder those Yellow Fin Sharks were attacking humans off the Texas beaches a couple of days ago .

They know when food is going to be short .
Or , now in the case of Americans , very fat.

Our governor is out of town leading an economic development mission in East Asia. He was already out of town before Hurricane Beryl showed up near Africa.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to be acting Governor during Hurricane Beryl’s expected landfall in Texas

Meanwhile, Abbott will be visiting Taiwan, South Korea and Japan from July 5-13, meeting with businesses and government leaders to strengthen ‘economic and cultural partnerships,’ as detailed in a press release from the Office of the Texas Governor. This will be Abbott’s first visit to Taiwan and South Korea and his third trip to Japan.
