The Houston ISD community is planning a mass sickout this Wednesday to protest "the harmful HISD takeover" and "[HISD Superintendent Mike Miles'] weak response on immigration safety in schools," organizers said on Monday.
It isn’t parents, really. It’s a vocal group of activists from out of district who recruited some parents and teachers.
Among other things, they are protesting the district’s lack of “immigration safety.” I have to say that is a brilliant phrase to describe facilitating illegal aliens and breaking the law and stealing educational resources from the children of taxpayers.
No worries about the illegal children. Their parents will absolutely send them to school. They like the free babysitting and the free breakfast and lunch. They are too smart to pass up something that easy.
