I did a calculation once, of what it would take for the US to sustain JUST converting all vehicles to electric, using wind turbines. If the numbers i got were accurate, it showed that the number of wind turbines needed just to charge electric vehicles would be enough to cover 50% of the land mass of the united states, and thats not including energy needed for everything else.

The result was, that while wind and solar is great because it's "free" energy, its just that the amount of energy they produce is inadequate to power the country.

We would need to at least quadruple the amount of power each wind turbine put out to be able to use them large scale.

Nuclear and coal are our only main options right now

Renewable energy will always cost more and can never meet demand. Fossil fuels and nuclear are the answer and Trump has put us on track to develop it.

my only real issue with renewables is that they are pushing solutions that only favors utility-scale production that will always disfavor consumers. Anyway, this trend has pre-dated Trump and Trump hasn't done anything that would explain the past price increases. Sure it means demand will continue to outpace production even more longer term if less gets built, but it isn't like Trump had national guard troops bulldozing solar panels that already are installed.

With less cheap clean energy in the mix, power companies have to charge you more for the electricity coming into your house...so your bill gets bigger.

How about you apply your interests on automobile companies using their computers in cars to screw people over due to their driving habits. Recording everything they do, and the middleman gets involved and the insurance companies raise their rates. Even if safe drivers. From your link. Trump ended "green energy incentives" which means that taxpayers were subsidizing uncompetitive green power producers with borrowed money. Biden added $8.5T to the Debt, Trump ended that scam.

These are incentives for new construction which haven’t kicked in yet. There’s no way this could be responsible for higher rates yet.

Biden had 4 years to drive up energy costs.
Germany has 40% renewables and the most expensive energy in Europe.
Spain just had a nationwide black out caused by dependence on renewables.
