But who's to say a situation like this where more people are armed doesn't lead to someone else getting killed in the process of the shoot-out? In this instance he was the only one that was killed.

I mean, validate the 2nd amendment of the Constitution? Why not??

It's the right thing to do. Every CITIZEN that has not been convicted of a felony should be able to take a firearm anywhere he (or she) damn well pleases.

From what I've read he walked in visibly armed. If she had drawn a weapon in his view she would have gotten shot with the intent to prevent her from firing, so probably not as lucky as a leg.

I honestly don't know, I can't honestly say that there definitely would have been incidents had firearms been allowed on airplanes all these years. At the same rate you can't really say things would have been different for the better on 9/11 had it not been against the law. You could just as easily assume potential terrorists would use that ability themselves...it sure would beat a box-cutter.

Would've should could've bullshit. When you carry a firearm handgun it should be holstered when you carry a rifle iit should be attached to a sling and carried on your shoulder. If the shooter was carring any other way his intention will be in question

I believe our Second Amendment is quit clear...

Does it say anything about states or permits?

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Lets translate that.

"A civilian army is necessary to protect the state (the people) and its every American citizens RIGHT to own a gun since they're potentially the army and government is forbidden from taking that potential army firearms."

It's odd the second amendment is in place to prevent those that want to ban the second amendment...

If I wanted to ban guns I'd ban bullets not guns... Making a device that could tap the primer is easy but manufacturing a bullet is more difficult...
