were separated from the rest of the U.S., and they ran as a independent country, so yes Lincoln Army did invade the South…
The fact is that there was never a
real nation anywhere on earth called the "Confederate States of America." No such nation was ever recognized by any actual nation, and the land that it pretended to be was always part of the United States. Lincoln deployed United States troops
within the United Staes in defense of the United States.
My Uncle Dave could declare that the island where he lives off the coast of Maine is the sovereign nation of Daveland, but he's not going to be recognized as such by anyone - except maybe his cousin Bert.
The legitimacy of any nation is established by the recognition of actual, sovereign nations. Pretending otherwise does not make it so.
The fact is the Confederate States had their own Government for a period of time before the War of Insurrection broke out.
The fact is if Lincoln, Grant and Sherman were alive today they would be facing The Hague for their genocide against the Southern Confederate States and yet those like you worship those men.
Also here is a fact and the only reason why Lincoln freed the slaves was to punish the Confederate States for their insurrection and when Lincoln was first elected he had no intention of freeing the slaves in the Confederacy and in fact his only goal at that time was to prevent expansion in new States and territories, so as you yammer on how the Confederate States were not a real nation the fact is Lincoln was a tyrant that would be hung by The Hague in today time.
As much as the Confederate States were wrong for allowing Slavery the reality is Lincoln and the North were no better!
Fact is the only reason why the North really objected to the South usage of Slaves was because it hurt Northern States economically, so those like Lincoln were out to prevent future States and Territories from having the choice.
So when are we going to get rid of Lincoln monuments and his face off the penny and five dollar bill?
