House passes Big, Beautiful Bill

Yawn. And Trump had the deficit up almost 3T...and that was before COVID broke out.
The point of the matter is...conservatives..aren't conservative, and the deficit is headed north..again..under a Republican president.
Too soon to tell, but keep up the negative vibes, only 3-years and 10-months to go!

It is all in Project 2025.

1900 pages of nonsense no one can read or understand. No one is using that as any platform. You are just spreading MSLSD hogwash. Yes, they are still spending too much on BS. Hope that helps?

There were no tax cuts in the bill...All it did was maintain 2017 levels.

Nobody cares about welfare for millions of indigent border crashers and able-bodied layabouts.
Illegals can not get MEDICAID.

There are not many able bodied not working....many states eliminated welfare for the able bodied already....my state did years ago.

This is MEDICAID and food assistance for AMERICANS....children, seniors who need help paying the Medicare fees and deductibles and monthly premiums who are our poorest, the disabled get health assistance through MEDICAID, and the working poor whose employers do not offer health care benefits, who earn too little to qualify for Obamacare...which has a minimum amount that you have to earn...while making too much to qualify for MEDICAID healthcare....

To do this to them, and make their taxes go up with tariff taxes on purchases all for the taxable earnings over $500,000 people to hold on to their expiring tax cuts over that amount,

Is avarice beyond comprehension, to me....

nope, still untrue.

Wait....DOGE and Trump cut off all kinds of important funding, including cancer research budget slashed by 31% (literally too many other examples to list) to "save money" and "cut spending" and, once again, Trump has run up the deficit with a handout to the wealthiest people in America.

Poor, white, middle America lets out a full throated cheer.

:huh1:

And? Whats the bad part? Cut as much as you can before they cause meltdown collapse. Cannot go on like drunken Sailors.

Where in the Constitution does it say I pay some LW lazy hack to do cancer research like Fauchi torturing beagle dogs in cages? Let the private sector work. Not some ten yr. GOVT boondoggle.

Nothing but dirty media talking points. You should be ashamed to look that stupid.

It shifts the tax burden on to the poor, by cutting their medical care and cutting their food stamps by hundreds of billions, and adding tariffs to purchases taxes them more as a percentage of income, because they spend their entire income on purchases while the wealthy or you and i, won't.

If the tax cuts were not given above the $500,000 earnings, as dems proposed, then the medical care and food assistance for the poor would not be hit with such drastic cuts that really, will take other peoples lives away....
Bver and above the $500k of their taxable earnings?
Excellent post. Honestly, I am not sure why they kept the cuts for those making over half a million a year.

Let me try to explain here. I want to use the ACA, "Obamacare", as an example. The budget, and taxes, are the one avenue the government has to "control" the economy. While collecting revenue is the primary reason behind taxes, controlling behavior comes in a close second.

See, it is not how much money. It is not the deficit. It is not even the debt. It is who is getting the money. Where does the money go. And this big, beautiful, bill doesn't have any bones about letting it be known. This really is taking money from the poor and giving it to the rich.

But to the ACA. We can address three components. First, it eliminated the ball and chain that was employer sponsored health insurance. Before the ACA, there were literally millions of people employed for the soul purpose of providing health insurance for a spouse or dependent.

Entrepreneur with a great idea, but a spouse with MS. You need the health insurance and can't go on your own. Plumber's wife, working at Walmart. They don't need her income, but they need the insurance. The ACA set those people free. GDP benefited. Wages benefitted.

The ACA also cut the rate of health care inflation, rather significantly. Crunching the numbers, might have saved the average American enough to pay for Trump's tariffs. That would be an interesting analysis.

But if there is one thing the ACA did that is actually measurable. The ACA eliminated the doughnut hole in Medicare Part D. And that component of the ACA cost almost nothing. The drug manufacturers picked up the tab. Millions of seniors, now with thousands more dollars a year in disposable income because they are not spending them on drugs.

They spend that money. On the grandkids, on home improvements, on travel. They fuel the economy. There are some white papers out there that argue, the boost to GDP from the ACA, during Trump's first administration, was greater than his contributions. In fact, it would have been negative GDP growth without the ACA.

This bill is the polar opposite, and if passed, will make a recession imminent, if not a full blown depression.

Goodbye. marxist pukes have nothing to offer worth reading. Simply spitting up talking points from the dirty media.

Ill wait for reality to settle in.//

After it's all said and done, it's more deficit spending.
Too many Americans are on the dole, and we will never be able to end it until there simply is no more money to pay out.

yep, the tax cuts do that. They will be offset by cutting spending in later quarters and tariff money. TARIFF. It's why he was doing that.
So tax cuts for the wealthy are paid for by regressive sales taxes?

what tax cuts for the wealthy, post those, got those brackets? I already provided them. Why did you ignore them? didn't fit your narrative huh?

Because you are proud of the bill and what is in it, and want the political fanfare when it passes!
I am certain when the Progs come to power again, they will balance everything quickly. Progs enlarge the government y trillions more when Joe was ordained and gave us two trillion-dollar deficits. We all know that to do it quickly, pain will be part of it. And Progs would and are making their accusations and smearing right now over this piece of legislation.

ACA was another "big beautiful bill", passed on a party-line vote. Same shit, different party.

you know what, that project thing probably has quite a lot of what republicans want to accomplish, so fking what? What is your issue?
Making those earning a salary over thirty grand exempt from overtime. That is a FUCKING PROBLEM to me.

I mean go in a Dollar General, they are everywhere. Probably got one, maybe two people working. One, a manager. Yeah, probably making a salary of less than thirty grand, less than six hundred a week. God knows how many hours, does she really need to be exempt from overtime?

And then there is the whole sixty this week, twenty next week. Oh hell no, that ain't right.
