There are currently 11 House Republicans that will vote Yes on a bill co-sponsored by Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) to demand release of all files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

This news terrified House Speaker Mike Johnson so much that he shut down Congress and began Congress' August Recess early. But this is not going away.

Trump's presidency is effectively over....whether he remains in office for the next 3 1/2 years or not.

Like that card they are reporting on. None of it enough to convict somebody beyond a reasonable doubt like what you're suggesting. But more than enough that it can't be explained away, especially to people who thrive on conspiracy theories. Like for instance the MAGA crowd.

Oh no doubt laws where broken. And I agree that those who did should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of who they are. I'm simply saying that unless and until you have enough that at the very least a grand jury would be willing to indict, everyone should be very careful before drawing inferences.

And I actually see validity in the justice department withholding information so they don't fuel those inferences.

Having said that, since this DOJ has made it a point to actually promoting inferences by publicly stating that they had information, at the very least Congress should investigate. In normal times this would be about the time a special counsel would be appointed. Not that these are normal times.
