House grinds to a halt as GOP tries to shut down Epstein votes

Because she has been through a grand jury and a trial, all while under oath.

Any question you have for her has likely been asked.
Meaning she dont know nuthin bout nuthin? Of course she knows everything

No we’re not. We want her to testify. And we want the files released.
Uh huh

The files may be pretty disappointing for libs without her testimony

And after what happened to Epstein there is only one way to make her talk

In fact I’s surprised she’s still alive now

Why are you surprised that she's still alive?

unfuzz me, is Congress voting for an investigation, or not? !~S~

Releasing the files could burn a few creeps but also tarnish a lot of innocent people through guilt by association

My preference is to waterboard Epstein’s limey chamber maid and get the truth out of her

Here is my prediction: She will testify, and say the right things and TRUMP will pardon her.
The list will be sealed permanently and we will never know the real truth.

A small price to pay to quell the MAGA fury

Where does it say that she testified under oath multiple times? I'm seeing the exact opposite.
Sorry, maybe it was just that one deposition. And you see how she lies. Putting her in front of Congress under oath would not be productive in any way.

How did the Republicans go from the party of referring to the last president as "Pedo Joe" and accusing their opposition of being groomers to becoming a party that protects a pedophile ring? Who are they covering for?

State of play: The House Rules Committee is not planning to hold votes this week to prepare major legislation for the House floor, meaning any remaining votes will likely be on small, noncontroversial bills.

  • The House had been scheduled to vote on GOP legislation involving immigration and environmental legislation this week that had to go through the panel first.
  • But Democrats planned to force yet more votes on amendments aimed at forcing the Justice Department to release all its documents on Epstein.
What they're saying: Members of the Rules Committee in both parties told reporters the standstill is due to Republicans not wanting to vote on the Epstein-related amendments.

It's obvious that both parties have their talking points only when they're convenient. Both parties stand for almost nothing. They're not there to run the country, they're there to make money for themselves and the Epstein case is making that difficult for them.

It's embarrassing.

Can you link us to a House Republican or Senator ever calling Biden "Pedo Joe?"

Offhand, I'd say the vote is coming, just that you are too used to democrats doing stuff quickly because it is all lead by one voice with everyone else just following suit to the republicans, where there are 100 or 200 different voices all to sort out first.

Regardless of how trustworthy she is, I'd be interested in hearing what she has to say.

I'm not the one ignoring there are rules and procedures for getting things done.
Apparently the Dems are, that they think they can order a seperate a co-equal branch of govt to release files on a particular crime case is an assault on our constitution,

Glad to see the Republicans standing up to this demafasict move
