Seniors are far wiser and have a lot more experience.
Seniors who sit around watching TV aren't long for this world. Better to have them working and guiding the youngsters.

I would say that depends really on the 64 year old. Most people don't retire until about 65-70 years old.
I can't think of a good reason an able-bodied person who could be working should be on Medicaid before 65, can you?
Medicaid is for people who cannot work due to health.
That’s also the socialist way of looking at things - that 64-year-olds have no value to society.
