Hossfly

When he gets around to reading this thread..maybe he will write a book of his own experiences. I'd love to read about it IF he wants to share. Sometimes it's too difficult to tread back to the past, though.

Since he has been in the hospital...I don't know if he even knows about the JFK files being released, along with audio tapes of L. Johnson admitting he put the hit out on Kennedy. That is going to be a rude awakening for him unless he already figured that out long ago.

ok..another update. Not so good news, though. On the 18st, was his and his wifes 64th wedding anniversary. On the 21st...3 days later...his wife went to heaven. I have permission to inform you of this. He has been in the hospital for 5 weeks and is now home as if the 17th. Poor Hossfly has been wrung thru the wringer, so to speak. He is still weak, has doc appts and is not strong enough to join us right now but he WILL because as his daughter said..."that trooper is slow getting back in the saddle". That's where WE come in. To be ready when he comes back, and to fill this thread with good vibes catching him up to date and eager to welcome him back when he is able.

She did get the link to here, and did show him the thread title I think, but he was worn out from 2 doc visits today so she slapped his ornery ass into bed, lol.

Wow, hard times, 5 weeks in the hospital is bad enough--- hospital beds, hospital food, but to have it happen just after losing your wife of 64 years, that is a tough one. At least Hoss has friends.

Oh no….I’m so sorry to hear about his wife 😢

Hossfly, though I am an infrequent poster, throughout my years here, I always held a special place in my heart for the kind of man you are, a principled man of common sense, compassion, and quiet dignity. Seeing your avatar compelled me to click on your posts. I knew something of value to me is what I would find there.

Then, when one day you started an OP about a man I had never heard of, Dale Smith, I joined in and found a weekly communication with Dale, another man I had wonderful feelings about. He was living with a terminal cancer diagnosis and I loved touching bases with him on a Sunday, until I read of his passing and mourned him for a long time, after that and still to this day, often think of.

The main memory of Dale Smith and his videos always made me smile, for who was always there by his side as he bravely battled a slow and painful death each and every day? You were, Hossfly. You would travel from your town in Texas to Dale's house in Texas. You helped a beautiful man die with a best friend by his side. I, often tearfully, loved you for being there for him. "A friend in need is a friend indeed."

I'll always love you both for that short chapter in my life. Somehow, through it all, you and Dale made me a better person. We'll all meet up again, bringing a new beginning with one another.
🙏
Dale Smith was right about the chemtrails after all.
