Homophobia Quiz: Are You Homophobic?

Lulz! Guess I got that bomb ass consciousness. Whatever. Gay or not, this "test" doesn't mean much. It all comes down to whether or not you are a good person in my opinion.

So, people are "bad" if they think homosexuality is sinful?
Maybe you need to take the Christian-phobic test!
Is there one? I'm an atheist, so I will probably fail; but I'll still take the test. I don't care what what you believe as long as you and I are happy; and our beliefs (or non beliefs) don't intrude into public places or legislation.

since my Faith (actually GOD) is the #1 thing in my life (including the legal system and government, and, including my own family, even my kids....) - it's hard for me to accept that.

it feels like it's okay to make people do things against their beliefs -
or that there is preference toward say, homosexuals over Christians... if you follow....
Live and let live. Are homosexuals preventing you from anything you would not normally do?

Well, now that it's legal, it does prevent a Christian from taking certain jobs - if they conflict with your religious beliefs......

This reminds me of the smoking topic. I know they are not really comparable, but, I said people should have a right to open a public "smoking" establishment - and it was argued that it wasn't right because non-smokers couldn't work there (at least those that were offended by smoke or worried about health hazards...)
As a smoker I want to agree with you. But then I think that people can not pick and choose where they want to work if they need the income. If I was a non smoker then I would be worried about working in say a bar that allowed smoking. I would not want to bar back from 9PM-3AM in a smoke chamber. Private "clubs" or what have you? Smoke away.

Sorry. I don't think I completely answered that.:( Maybe some Christians yes. But you can still remain Christian as long as you believe in Jesus...It MAY not matter if you believe all kinds of things but as long as you believe in Jesus Christ you will always be a Christian. Belief is the basic tenet. All that other stuff is superficial.

Bye the way, I am engaging in my quarterly drinking. So if anything I say offends or sounds less or more than moderate...please excuse. For tonight anyhow.

Lulz! Sorry. I drink alcohol about 4 times per year. This just happens to be one of those nights. I was really shitty to someone else in a different thread. Very uncharacteristic of me. Even the swearing. I apologize if I am being rude.

Oh so literally quarterly drinking! Well, at least you limit yourself! I know all about it, so, I normally don't swear or yell at people as much as I just act like a dork..... but I'm not a guy... you have been fine to me...
So where is this thread where you are cursing??? :)

Lol. It was about #54 when I decided to come over here. My whole shtick was kind of off topic and inebriated.

Fail!

that thread is way TMI for me! over my head!

The quiz told me to take the dick out of my mouth. Not really sure what that means. :dunno:

51- Homophobic

"Don't care if people are gay"
"Not upset if they hit on me"
"Wouldn't end friendship if they're gay"

Yet still "homophobic".

Ok.

I will tell you right now that I do not need to take a test to know the truth. I am definitely a homophobe! I think we need to put those fuckers back in the closet!

25 - Your score rates you as "high-grade non-homophobic."

In his 1996 study of 64 white, male college students, Dr. Henry Adams classed 29 participants as "non-homophobic." Their mean score was 30.48, however, placing most of the men outside of this sub-group. Dr. Adams reported that he had difficulty finding heterosexual men whose scores ranked them as high-grade non-homophobic

I'm not! Here's my results:

33 - Your score rates you as "non-homophobic."
In his 1996 study of 64 white, male college students, Dr. Henry Adams classed 29 participants as "non-homophobic." Their mean score was 30.48. This is not conclusive, however. Dr. Adams, the researcher who helped develop this scale, writes that "a major difficulty of this area of research is in defining and measuring homophobia." Elsewhere, he cautions: Since there is no universally accepted definition of homophobia, the scales currently in use may not measure all aspects of homophobia.

4 - Your score rates you as "high-grade non-homophobic."

Second question was vague. 'deserve what happens to them' Implies whatever happens is due to being gay and is unfair, but gay people can be douchebags too and deserve somethign bad happening to them. Just not because they're gay. :)

I got 20- Your score rates you as "high-grade non-homophobic."

It's good. I think. Do I try to check if they're gay or not when I speak with them? wtf do I care? But I don't like if they kiss or PDA, either. I'm all about free love, but not always in the mood to witness it.

Doesn't make me homophobic, thank goodness.
