I enjoy the havoc that it causes since people are not willing to get people a safe home. I was homeless myself decades ago, and people would call the cops on me for sleeping in a park past 12am where there was literally no one there. I also slept under a condo/business front. I was always clean and never left any trash there(I even picked up trash that other jagg offs left in the area) and always left bright and early at 7pm before the public started coming, and came back late, well into the night when everyone was gone. My good behavior didn't matter; they kicked me out because of 'reasons'. That's pretty much the story virtually anywhere you try to sleep, even if it isn't on someone's property. I can imagine that if I were homeless long term, I would run out of spaces to go. When I was homeless, literally all I wanted was a reliable and comfortable place to sleep. Lack of and low quality of sleep markedly affects all other aspects of day to day life. These classist POS want you to sleep in a fucking ally with the rats and raccoons terrorizing you all night, just so they don't have to look at you from the comfort of their air conditioned condo. It must be so hard. Truth is, they see us as rats.



Well If that's the way it is, I don't mind all problems it brings. You don't give a shit about homeless people, we don't give a shit about you. I enjoy seeing the news of a homeless person yeeting someone. It's your own fault because you didn't want to get them housed. Come out them pockets or it's no deal. And as a black man, I don't particularly respect property rights. What are property rights? The same people granting you property rights, infringed on the property rights of the Native Americans, fuck outta here. I used to love being robin hood when I was homeless. You can't steal something that is already stolen, it's just redistribution of wealth. I saw a homeless guy steal from Jewel Osco the other day. Guess what I did? I looked the other way. Its's all reparations. If he's gotta sleep in a fucking rat infested alley, you gotta come out them pockets. So, I hope the issue gets worse until people start taking it seriously and getting these people the amenities they need. I hope these communities are engulfed with filth and crime.

I grew up homeless. New York winters are truly ugly for a kid up to 8 years old. I despise anyone who helps the homeless. I used to let my dog pass on the homeless sleeping in the park. He must have been attracted by the smell.

We would hitch hike up to Provincetown in the summer. New York was like a hot, humid, petri dish of unwashed smelly blacks and Puerto Ricans full of disease. Yep, I know all about homeless. Anyone who helps the homeless should be roasted on a spit over an open fire.

America's religious organizations get paid to do it.

That's such a retarded suggestion. Most are mentally ill, low IQ, or addicts. Many simply don't have the impulse control to hold a job. You don't think they've tried to work? They do and they get fired after a day. Not gonna happen. It's like if I leave a piece of cake out on the floor in front of my dog, tell him not to touch it, and leave the house for 48 hours. At that point, YOU would be the idiot for expecting a dog not to eat it. So, no matter how many times you tell the dog not to, it's never gonna work. Socialism is the only solution to homelessness,and you're gonna subsidize it.

The musician gave the homeless tiny homes for free. The City of Los Angeles gave these homeowners no place to put them. The initial problem is intimately linked to the latter problem: they did not work for their own home.

he says he was respectful, cleaned up after himself, then ... something different entirely at the end...

so yeh... If you let society give you a bad attitude... well, it's not society doing that, although I can understand frustratiion w/ it... There's no such thing as society, in a way... it's indivduals... gummit is made up of individuals obviously... and not all people can control what gummit does... even though we're supposed to have control of it...

that is not always as easy as people make it sound.. A lot of employers are too damn picky... they don't want to hire someone who gives a soup kitchen for an address.. all the stereotypes... People think all homeless people are bad...
